Russia making history winning the UEFA Euro 2020 Group B Matchday 2 defeating Finland on Wednesday 16 June 2021 in Saint Petersburg.   The hero for Russia is Serie A player Atalanta forward Aleksey Miranchuk scoring the only goal of the game and enough to claim the victory.   Russia celebrate their first win at a EURO competition since 2012 opener. Highlight of the match is Finland warming up  wearing t-shirts with the message “Get well Christian” written across them.  Denmark and Inter player Christian Eriksen is recovering after his heart attack on Matchday 1 during the game against Finland.
