Mission accomplished for Juventus and overcoming the pressure from Napoli.  Juventus beat Chievo and are again sole leaders of the Serie A with 52 points leaving Napoli behind with 49 points.   Pressure high and the tension felt just about everywhere considering that Juventus coach Antonio Conte was also suspended for this game.

Juventus taking the lead in the 10th minute with forward Alessandro Matri delivering a left footed shot from the center after the assist by midfielder Arturo Vidal.  Matri defeating Chievo Verona goalkeeper in the bottom right corner while the joy from Juventus players gaining momentum with this goal.   

Second goal of the game in the 42nd minute with Juventus defender Stephan Lichsteiner delievering a left footed shot defeating Chievo goalkeeper Puggioni in the top right corner with assist by forward Sebastian Giovinco.

Chievo shortening the distance in the 52nd minute with forward Cyril Thereau beating Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner with assist by Perparim Hetemaj.  It's the fourth goal of the season for Thereau.
