AC Milan with an early cold shower in the 35th minute after Zenit opening the score.  It was the chance for AC Milan to show a convincing game and keep the momentum going, but failing in San Siro.  AC Milan already qualified, but it would have been better to end the Group Stage with a victory.

 In the 35th minute it is forward Danny to smack a right footed shot from the center silencing San Siro watching goalkeeper Christian Abbiati defeated in the bottom right corner.  Danny running to celebrate knowing the value of this goal in Italy.   AC Milan are already qualified to the Round of 16.  Zenit with this victory made it to the third position to make it to the Europa League Knockout Stages.

AC Milan qualifying for the Round of 16 on matchday 5.  After Matchday 6, AC Milan are  in the second situation with 8 points and a positive goal difference of +1.  Malaga are in the first position with 12 points and a positive goal difference of +7.
