UEFA Champions League Round of 16

It's a curse and you might say it louder. "A CRISIS FOR INTER."  Not a brilliant game at all, though Inter at the end, and I really mean at the end.... let the 3 points go.  In the 93rd minute the killer goal by Marseille by Andre Ayew with only 50 seconds before the game delivering a headed goal from a corner.  More than a cold shower bucket, this was a thunder burning Inter's struggling world this season limiting chances to qualify.   It's a dagger in the heart.  The frustration from Inter defenders Christian Chivu and Walter Samuel after the goal by holding their heads.   Painful as it sounds, but it is the fourth consecutive defeat for Inter and the next 24 hours might be a "summit meeting to save Inter's season."

Inter started well with the early attempt to score from forward Diego Forlan in the 3rd minute, but after?

The sadness, frustration from Inter at the end of the game with petrified look, long faces, almost in tears from players with the disappointing result.  Opposite effect watching Olympique Marseille players celebration.

Inter president Massimo Moratti was in the tribune watching the game, and no need to tell you about his expression after the game.  Are we into the guillotine for Raniei?  Will this be the final blow?

What went wrong with Inter?   Did Ranieri picked the wrong formation from the 4-4-2 for the 4-3-1-2.?   many fans contesting Ranieri's decision on 2hy in the world leaving on the bench forwards Giampaolo Pazzini and Diego Miligo and picking Mauro Zarate.  Well, there is a simple explanation at least in the case of Milito because he was not fully recovered from fever and not ready for 90 minutes.  My question would be and "what about Pazzini? "  To my knowledge Pazzini was fit and ready and at least proven more effective.

Italy have 3 teams playing in the Champions League Round of 16, AC Milan and Napoli already played and won their respective games.  Today,  Inter failed to win the match and risk not qualifying to the quarterfinals.  Anyway, guys, Inter fans in twitter are expressing their frustration including popular Inter fan "Fiorello," still inviting the team not to give up.

The big winner is the ex currently Olympique Marseille coach Didier Deschamps, a familiar face in Italian football. Deschamps played for Juventus from 1994 to 1999 making 124 appearances and scoring 4 goals.  Later, Deschamps became Juventus coach from 2006 to 2007.

Before the match Coach Ranieri  said, ""Could this match mark a turning point? We've been looking for a turning point all season. I fear that in the league we're going to have ups and downs but we have the Champions League again now and Inter live off the big-match adrenaline so I expect to see my team alive and kicking."  Oh well, no turning point, but urgent reaction from the team and management.

Marseille vs Inter 1-0 (22/02/2012) Champions... by enwsiths

Here is the video from DIRETTA STADIO 7 Gold with narration by Inter fan Filippo Tramontana.   Plus, you must see who is also in the studio... Luciano Moggi!!!!!   You got to see it because he opens the show wearing a protective Inter design "motorbike helm" alluding that after all the goals conceded in previous games, Inter need to be protected now..   Hum?  Well, it saddens me a lot because as a fan I understand the pain, the disappointment when one starts optimistic thinking to have a "victory," to only at the end remaining "speechless" for a defeat.

People in the studio without words watching the sad "almost to tear" reaction from Filippo Tramontana when announcing the goal from Marseille with only 50 seconds to the end of the game.
