Inter coach Claudio Ranieri admitting the bad results from Inter lately, but now time to react.  I agree with Ranieri that football is not always an exact science.  Currently, fact is clear that Inter must start winning to get at least the "third position."

Inter are in the 5th position with 36 points and a positive goal difference of +4.
Bologna are in the 17th position with 22 points and a negative goal difference of -8.

Here are the declarations from Inter coach Claudio Ranieri on the Serie A Week 24 game, Inter v Bologna to be played Friday 17 February at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium at 20:45.

"The matches we have just left behind us were by no means inspiring because we took some blows that left us reeling; now we have to turn this tendency around.  Since the beginning of January," he continued," Bologna have not lost an away game, but we need points. We must be careful not to give away any goals and we must be sharp when attacking, in spite of our absences, which is not an excuse. Football is not always an exact science: against Novara we worked hard and with one counter-attack they were able to hurt us. We'll have to be more careful tomorrow, because Bologna will try and attack on the break too."

On the physical condition of first goalkeeper Julio Cesar, Ranierie commented,   "He wants to play, tomorrow too. He doesn't want to sit back with the situation of the team as it is now and this is laudable."
