Fabrizio Miccoli Awarded as Top Scorer for Palermo scoring 64 goals breaking the record of Carlo Radice on Sunday 5 February 2012

@ItalianSerieA Italian Soccer Serie A blog congratulates Palermo forward Fabrizio Miccoli becoming the top scorer of Palermo Club with 64 goals and counting. Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini presenting an Award to Fabrizio Miccoli before the Serie A Week 22 game Palermo 2 - 1 Atalanta on Sunday 5 February 2012 , to commemorate Miccoli as top goal scorer of the Club. Miccoli passed the record of during the Serie A Week 21 match where he scored three goals for Palermo against Inter to end the game with a draw Inter 4 - 4 Palermo . Previous record was hold by Carlo Radice with 62 goals.
Best way for Miccoli to say thank you to the fans was by scoring again today in the match against Atalanta in the 29th minute converting a penalty with a right footed shot defeating goalkeeper in the bottom right corner where goalkeeper Frezzolini could not save. The penalty was conceded by goalkeeper Andrea Consigli who got the red card.
Miccoli joined Palermo on July 5, 2007 transferring from Portuguese club Benfica. Miccoli up to February 5 making a total of 108 official appearances.
