Genoa grabbing a home victory defeating Lazio and still with a pending game after the suspension of Atalanta - Genoa for the bad weather on Week 21.   Lazio falling at the Luigi Ferraris stadium. It's a birthday celebration for Genoa forward Rodrigo Palacio celebrating his 30th birthday today.  Palacio born on February 5, 1982 in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.

The victory keeping Genoa in the 9th position with 30 points and a negative goal difference of -7.
Lazio are in the 4th position with 39 points and a positive goal difference of +12.

Top scorer for Genoa is forward Rodrigo Palacio with 12 goals.
Top scorer for Lazio is forward Miroslav Klose with 11 goals.
Palacio unlocking the "goal score" scoring today against Lazio while Klose not able to score.  Before the game each player had score 11 goals, now it is Palacio with the smiling face.

Palacio opening the score in the 10th minute following a corner conceded by Francesco Matuzalem.  Taking the corner spot is Bosko Jankovic sending the assist towards Palacio to deliver a left footed shot defeating Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti in the bottom right corner. It's the 12th goal of the season for Palacio.  Bring the birthday cake and party for everybody, way to go for Palacio to celebrate his 30th birthday by opening the score!.

In the 25th minute,  an assist by forward Giuseppe Sculli to Jankovic smacking a right footed shot to increase the score defeating goalkeeper Marchetti in the bottom right corner.
