Official, Colombia Midfielder Fredy Guarin New Inter player until June 30, 2016 from Tuesday 31 January 2012

Inter welcoming new player Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin, a confirmed transfer market from Porto on a lon with a purchase option.   Guarin will  travel to the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti to meet his new team-mates.  Guarin underwent medical test on Tuesday 31 January 2012 and signed his contract with Inter until June 30, 2016.

Guarin with a top curriculum, two Argentine league titles – an apertura and a clausura – with Boca Juniors. Eight titles in Portugal with Porto: 2 league championships, 2 domestic cups and 2 super cups. And success in the UEFA Europa League last spring.

Fredy Guarin arrives at Inter (on loan with a purchase option) with much experience and a great desire to win again. Born in Puerto Boyaca, Colombia on 30 June 1986, he came up through the youth system of Atletico Huila and Envigado. He then moved to Boca and proceeded to Europe: first in France (Saint-Etienne) and then later, Porto. Guarin has 36 caps with the Colombian national team. The midfielder is capable of playing in several roles and formations and he has a nose for goal, with 23 already scored in his career.
