If Lecce needed a motivation to believe in their salvation, they got it today in grand style, a victory worth of a red carpet for struggling Lecce.  Wake up call for Inter to archive this defeat immediately.   What a historical and impressive victory for Lecce at the Via Del Mare defeating Inter.  It's the joy from Lecce coach Serse Cosmi with the first home win since he took over and for the team this season.  The hero for the day is Guillermo Giacomazzi scoring the only goal of the match in the 40th minute proving to be the "winner goal."

Giacomazzi running to celebrate with the fans as saying "HERE I AM" to the banner displayed by the fans saying "Lecce vinci per noi" meaning "Lecce win for us."

Lecce, accomplishing the unthinkable by many, defeating Inter playing the second away game this week after losing at the San Paolo stadium against Napoli and being eliminated of the Coppa Italia.  Inter  scored two goals, but both ruled out for offside.  Another pain, another defeat.  A sad moment for the over 4,000 Inter fans making the trip to Via Del Mare.

Here is the thing.  Inter did score two goals one by Pazzini and the other one by Diego Milito both ruled out for offside. Lecce stopping Inter's seven consecutive Serie A games win... the train stopping at Via Del Mare.

Lecce can celebrate this important victory also because they are seeing the light for salvation.  Lecce  went up from the 19th position to the 18th position  with 16 points and a negative goal difference of -15.
Inter went down from the 4th position to the 5th position with 35 points and a positive goal difference of +9

Here is the disciplinary situation.  One suspended player for LECCE: Ferrario and six players with one yellow card  Obodo, Cuadrado, Corvia, Esposito, Tomovic, Olivera.  No suspended players for Inter and only one player with one yellow card: Maicon.
