Lecce, accomplishing the unthinkable by many, defeating Inter playing the second away game this week after losing at the San Paolo stadium against Napoli and being eliminated of the Coppa Italia. Inter scored two goals, but both ruled out for offside. Another pain, another defeat. A sad moment for the over 4,000 Inter fans making the trip to Via Del Mare.
Here is the thing. Inter did score two goals one by Pazzini and the other one by Diego Milito both ruled out for offside. Lecce stopping Inter's seven consecutive Serie A games win... the train stopping at Via Del Mare.
Lecce can celebrate this important victory also because they are seeing the light for salvation. Lecce went up from the 19th position to the 18th position with 16 points and a negative goal difference of -15.
Inter went down from the 4th position to the 5th position with 35 points and a positive goal difference of +9
Here is the disciplinary situation. One suspended player for LECCE: Ferrario and six players with one yellow card Obodo, Cuadrado, Corvia, Esposito, Tomovic, Olivera. No suspended players for Inter and only one player with one yellow card: Maicon.
