Here is the Italy Serie Week 19  Roundup valid for Matchday 19 on Saturday January 21 and Sunday January 22,  2012.   Status quo in the leadership remain the same with  Juventus, AC Milan, and Udinese winning their respective games.  Juventus as sole leaders with 41 points and a positive goal difference of +19  after defeating Atalanta with the goals by defender Stephan Lichtsteiner and Emanuele Giaccherini.  Juventus crowned are Winter Champions.  Top scorer up to Week 19 are Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale and AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 14 goals each.

AC Milan keeping second position with 40 points and a positive goal difference of +23 while Udinese keep the third position with 38 points and a positive goal difference of +15.   

Fastest goal this week is from Chievo Verona forward Alberto Paloschi in the 2nd minute against Lecce at the Via del Mare Stadium.

Highlight this week is the record from AS Roma captain forward Francesco Totti sng his 211 goals with Roma, not only being the top active goalscorer in Serie A, but also breaking the record of Nordahl.  Totti scoring  his 210th goal in the 1st minute against Cesena and the 211th goal in the 8th minute both with assist by Erik Lamela.   AS Roma raining goals over Cesena at the Olimpico with a crushing defeat  AS Roma 5 - 1 Cesena

Yep, Totti now with the 211 goals for Roma!  The combo a deja vu.  Assist again from Erik Lamela towards the center for Totti to deliver a right footed shot defeating Cesena goalkeeper Antonioli who won't forget this match.....

In  the 9th minute Fabio Borini with a right footed shot after assist by Leandro Greco following a fast break for the third goal of the match.

Cesena shortening the distance in the 58th minute with assist by Antonio Candreva to forward Citadin Eder delivering a left footed shot from close range defeating AS Roma goalkeeper Stekelenburg in the center.

Lecce 1 - 2 Chievo VeronaOpening the score and silencing Via del Mare is Chievo Verona in the 2nd minute with forward Alberto Paloschi delivering a right footed shot from the center defeating Lecce goalkeeper Benussi in the top right corner. 

Mamma mia, hello, hello, hello, an error by Andrea Esposito on his effort to clear the ball it ended up in the way of Alberto Paloschi not wasting a chance to score. Yep, Paloschi in the 24th minute with a right footed shot smacked the net defeating Lecce goalkeeper in the top left corner. 

A moment of redemption for Esposito. In the 30th minute, it is Andrea Esposito to shorten the distance... though it seems the goal is given as own goal by Marco Andreolli.

Palermo equalizes in the 26th minute with forward Igor Budan defeating Genoa goalkeeper with a headed goal from the center of the box after an assist by forward Fabrizio Miccoli.

In the 37th minute it is Palermo defender Matias Silvestre to put the pink boys ahead following a corner by Josip Illicic,  Corner conceded by Genoa Mario Sampirisi.  Silvestre in the center of the box at the right time for the headed goal defeating Genoa goalkeeper Frey in the bottom right corner.

Inter 2 - 1 Lazio: Lazio taking the lead in the 30th minute with a cold bucket for Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar.  An assist  by midfielder Cristian Ledesma to the right side finding  Rocchi to smack a right footed shot defeating Julio Cesar in the bottom left corner.

In the 63rd minute the one and only "il Pazzo" Giampaolo Pazzini smacking the almost empty net with a right footed shot after the headed assist by Lucio while Marchetti anticipated and the ball not waiting for permission to enter... bam!  Inter fans increasing their chants and Pazzini with his trademark celebration pointing at his eyes.
