2010-2011: 34 appearances, 2 goals, safety.
2011-2012: 12 appearances, 1 goal, moves to Milan.
Here's what the player had to say after his first day of training at the Milanello sports centre:
"I’m proud and pleased to have signed with Milan – said Mesbah
– I’m here with a lot of humility and a desire to grow. It was quite
special coming to the Milanello sports centre and all my team mates have
great to me. I hope to get integrated as quick as possible and make
myself available for selection.”
“I’ve scored a few goals in my career – he added –
but mostly when I played in midfield. At Lecce I was always played at
the back but I also like to get into the other half of the pitch. A
memory from Lecce 3-4 Milan? The first half was amazing, but then my new
team mates played like they know how and there was nothing to be done.
It was an unforgettable game in my career.”
