Here is the Italy Serie Week 18  Roundup valid for Matchday 18 on Saturday January 14, Sunday January 16, and Monday January 16, 2012.   The verdict is over.  Winner of the MILAN DERBY is Inter with the opening goal by forward Diego Milito with a diagonal left footed shot in the 54th minute.  Inter winning the Milan Derby  since August 29, 2009 after Milan winning 3 consecutive times

Parma with new coach Roberto Donadoni finally winning after 6 defeats.  Parma defeating AC Siena with 3-1.

Catania opening the score in the 24th minute with a headed goal by defender Nicola Legrottaglie defeating AS Roma goalkeeper Stekelenburg in the top left corner after the assist by Francesco Lodi. It's the third goal this season for Legrottaglie, 

Four minutes later, and bam... there you go.. AS Roma equalizing the score in the 28th minute with "future captain" midfielder Daniele De Rossi with a headed goal following a corner with assist by "present captain" Francesco Totti.  De Rossi from the center of the box on time to head the ball defeating Catania goalkeeper Campagnolo in the bottom right corner.  De Rossi running to celebrate and removing his shirt kissing it.. hello hello hellooo a clear message to the fans that he "really loves Roma."   oops... bad thing is that Referee Tagliavento gives him a yellow card. for removing the shirt..

This game was suspended in the 65th minute for heavy raining. with the partial result 1-1.

Lazio 2 - 0 Atalanta: Lazio taking the lead after a penalty conceded by Atalanta defender Andrea Masiello for a foul inside the penalty area on Lazio midfieler Alvaro Gonzales in the 18th minute.  Lazio midfielder Hernanes converts the penalty with a right footed shot defeating Atalanta goalkeeper in the bottom left corner.

In the 92nd minute there you go... Mr. KLOSE!  An assist by Senad Lulic to forward Miroslav Klose smacking a left footed shot defeating Atalanta goalkeeper in the bottom left corner. Klose celebrating and this is his 9th goal of the season.

In the 39th minute, Referee Valeri gives a penalty in favor of Cesena conceded by Michael Morganella.  Taking the penalty spot is forward Adrian Mutu taking time while Novara fans protests raising their voices.  Mutu keeps concentration and smacks a right footed shot defeating Novara goalkeeper in the bottom right corner.

Napoli 1 - 1 Bologna:  Surprisingly and silencing the San Paolo in the 14th minute when Bologna forward Robert Acquafresca smacked the opening goal with a right footed shot defeating Napoli goalkeeper in the bottom left corner. A total surprise!   Napoli being down and in the 71st minute, among protests, Napoli got a penalty converted by Edinson Cavani to equalize the score and save at least 1 point.
