Palermo remaining with 10 players since the 43rd minute after Referee Doveri gives a red card to Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic for fighting after a foul on Massimo Paci..

At the end, Novara taking away the 3 points to Palermo and equalizes the score in the 84th minute with Marco Rigoni delivering a right footed shot after the assist by Michel Morganella.  Rigoni defeating Palermo goalkeeper in the bottom right corner.
