It's a sweet victory for Atalanta in front of their fans at the Atleti Azzurri D'Italia Stadium.   Atalanta living a nightmare with the ongoing investigation for Calciopoli seeing ex Captain Cristiano Doni as one of the main protagonists.  The objective is to put aside  negative aspects and think on the league this season.

Opening the score is Cesena with Antonio Candreva in the 11th minute.

Atalanta equalizing the score in the 17th minute when Referee Russo gives a penalty conceded by Cesena Guillermo Rodriguez for a foul on Guido Marilungo.  Converting the penalty is Atalanta forward German Denis with a right footed shot defeating Cesena goalkeeper in the bottom left corner.  Denis is now the sole leader of the Top Scorer table with 12 goals.
