@ItalianSerieA It's official. Palermo coach Devis Mangia sacked on Monday December 19, 2011 as confirmed in Palermo official website. Mangia sacked after losing the "Sicilian Derby" on Sunday December 18, 2011 at the Angelo Massimino Stadium CATANIA 2 - 0 PALERMO Mangia also contedted for the eliminataion of the Coppa Italia after losing at home against AC Siena.
New coach is Bortolo Mutti who will be presented on Tuesday December 20.
Palermo official announcement in Italian: L’U.S. Città di Palermo comunica che, in data odierna, il tecnico Devis Mangia ed il suo staff sono stati esonerati dalla guida della Prima Squadra.
La Società ringrazia l’allenatore per la disponibilità e per il lavoro svolto, nella grande fatica da lui sostenuta per il salto dalla Primavera alla Prima Squadra, ritenendolo un tecnico di ottima prospettiva.
