Palermo failing big time to redeem themselves at the Renzo Barbera Stadium in front of their fans. Palermo now with the second consecutive home defeat, and what a painful defeat. Palermo is now eliminated from the Coppa Italia in penalty shoot outs.
Not everything is bad for Palermo as they managed, well, one single player Josip Ilicic, to equalize the score three times. However, it was not enough.
At the end, Palermo failing to convert 3 penalties in the shootouts while AC Siena grabbed this important away victory and are now in the next round of the Coppa Italia.
