It's the recovered match for Week 11suspended for heavy rains.

A blow for Napoli who had the match practically archived in the first half, until Juventus in the second half returning to equalize the match.  Adraw with the feeling of victory for Juventus who were down 2-0 and a slap in the face for Napoli losing control of the match to draw.

Juventus reaffirm tthe sole leadership of the Serie A with 26 points and a positive goal difference of  +12.  Napoli are in the 6th position with 17 points and a positive goal difference of  +6.  Certainly, coach Antonio Conte is not willing to slow down the race.  Advantage is Juventus not playing neither the Champions League nor Europa League having more resting time.  Napoli are having a rough moment losing points every week in the Serie A, but also battling in the Champions League.  Napoli with a blow after losing the game against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

A rocking start for this match when Referee Tagliavento grants a penalty to Napoli conceded by Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo by bringing down Ezequiel Lavezzi.  Taking the penalty spot is Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik, the  instant glorious celebration in th3 15th minute when  Hamsik run to celebrate his righ t footed shot defeating Buffon only to be halt by the Referee with the  order of repeating the penalty.   The party in San Paolo interrupted and sad faces when Hamsik failed to convert the penalty in the second chance sending his right footed shot over  the bar... to the stars... "alle stelle"

The moment of redemption.... yep, Napoli midfielder Hamsik redeeming himself in the 23rd minute by opening the score in the 23rd minute.  Hamsik with a headed goal from close rang defeating Juventus goalkeeper Buffon in the bottom left corner.  The party this time is not stopped and the San Paolo is a living carnival with the chants by Napoli fans and Hamsik celebrating along .

In the 40th minute, there you go, another motive to celebrate when Napoli forward Goran Pandev increases the score.  Pandev with a right footed shot while goalkeeper Buffon anticipates but nothing to do when the ball ends in the bottom left corner.  Pandev running towards the fans, and now it's all Napoli.  Juventus too nervous.

First half ends 41% ball possession Napoli and 59% ball possession Juventus

Second half starting and it is a total different Juventus.  In the 49th minute it is forward Alessandro Matri to smack a right footed shot to shorten the distance.

Say what!!!! Mamma mia.. hello hello hello.. what a nice goal by Goran Pandev   This is a "controlled goal"   with Pandev  taking his time to turn and accommodate the ball to finalize a left footed shot defeating Juventus goalkeeper  Buffon   Nothing to do for Juventus defender Bonucci who had the chance to stop Pandev, but Pandev controlling the whole action and there it was the final smack.....

Not so fast, guys, in the 72nd minute, the combo with Alessandro Matri and Estigarribia.. yep,  headed assist by Matri and Marcelo Estigarribia with a right footed shot  from the center of the area  defeating Napoli goalkeeper  Morgan De Sanctis in the center.   Surely,  it is a different Juventus in this second half, a more determined, aggressive...

Juventus seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in the 80th minute with the equalizer goal by Simone Pepe!!!!  Yep, Pepe freezing the San Paolo with his cold goal to draw the match.

The excruciating facial gesture of Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri says it all..... this is a blow!

In the last minutes, Juventus coach Antonio Conte giving some "minutes" to the ex Napoli player Fabio Quagliarella in the 90th minute replacing Alessandro Matri.  Wow, Quagliarella is received by his ex fans with whistles.... oh oh, certainly, not what he expected after all he did with Napoli.

In the 91st minute, also playing time for forward Alessandro Del Piero replacing Mirko Vucinic.

Game over with the whistle of Referee Tagliavento and the party in San Paolo "cool down" by an aggressive Juventus in this second half.

The battle with 2 goalkeepers from the Italian National team. Juventus goalkeeper  Gigi Buffon and Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis face to face.. ending with a draw.

Top scorer for Napoli is forward Edinson Cavani with 4 goals.  Top scorer for Juventus is  forward Alessandro Matri with 5 goals

Here is the disciplinary situation. One suspended player for Napoli:  Santana and one player wit one yellow card: Lavezzi.  No suspended player for Juventus, but 4 players with one yellow card: Marchisio, Andrea Pirlo, Giorgio Chiellini and Simone Pepe.

It's a real challenge for Juventus sole leader with 25points to break the curse at the San Paolo.  Last time Juventus won at the San Paolo was 11 years ago. Yep. It was on September 30, 2000, Napoli 1 - 2 Juventus, with Kovacevic and Alessandro Del Piero scoring for Juventus and Stellone for Napoli.

Before the match, Stats in favor of Napoli at the San Paolo Stadium.  Out of the 75 games  (except in 1955 when played in Bari) including:
