The second group spent the whole session, which lasted about 75 minutes, on the pitch. Lucio and Yuto Nagatomo trained with their team-mates after recovering from their respective injuries (the Japanese player had been out since Inter v Juventus on 29 October for a calf strain; while the Brazilian was injured in training on Friday at the Stadio Meazza with a knock he took to the left knee). Along with the second group were Cristian Chivu (who was suspended for yesterday's match) and Luc Castaignos, as well as Ivan Ramiro Cordoba and Andrea Poli, although they are not on the list of players who can be used in the UEFA Champions League. Finally, there was an individual session for Wesley Sneijder working on his muscle injury. It was a rest day for Maicon, Sulley Muntari and Emiliano Viviano. Diego Forlan is on leave.
