Awesome guys!!!!!   Players making their entrance to the stadium.   Closeup from the Azzurri, Buffon,

Playing of national anthems with Uruguay  first, and close up by each player  and there you see Napoli forward Edinson Cavani and  the ex Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera both with Uruguay.   Great amount of Uruguay fans displaying giants flags, banners, scarfs.

Turn for the Italian  national anthem ad I hve goosebumps!!!!   closeup from Buffon,  Daniele De rossi, Ranocchia, Marchsio,  and a loud  choir in the stadium united to sing l'Inno di Mameli... Buffon  inspired with closed eyes singing .....     Closeup from Balotelli now and Federico Balzaretti switching to Cesare Prandelli.....

Players now shaking hands before the match.......    Italy captain Gigi Buffon and Uruguay captain Lugano exchanging scudetti.....

In the 1st minute first attempt with forward Mario Balotelli running fast like an arrow  to  shoot a right footed shot .... gee though Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera saving!!!!

Oh my gosh, you got to be kidding!!!!!!!! I was barely getting my espresso shot and had to set it aside!!! In the 3rd minute a cold shower with Uruguay opening the score... an error from the defense while Uruguay not wasting time and Martin Caceres providing the assist for Seba Fernandez defeats Buffon with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.  Mamma miaaaaaaaaaa oh my gosh,,, geee instead of one espresso shot I should get now a triple shot!!!!!!

Italy with a chcne  in the 8th minute with midfielder Riccardo Montolivo delivering a left footed shot from outside the area... and ufffaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Muslera saves in the bottom right corner!!!!!!!

First yellow card of the match in the 25th minute for Alvaro Perreira after a foul on Mario Balotelli...

No way, not possible... guys, in the 30th minute a headed shot by Italy forward Pablo Osvaldo after the assist by Daniele De Rossi and  Muslera saves!!! Uffaaa this was a super AS Roma combo move and you bet the  roaring support from the local  Roma fans rooting for their players......  la magica Roma in action.  We just need the goal!!!!!!

Second yellow card f in the 33rd minute for Diego Lugano after a foul on forward Mario Balotelli.

In the 36th minute an assist by defender Federico Balzaretti to Ricardo Montolivo making a right footed shot... oh well..  good intention...

Oh gosh, I can't believe how many chances are passing by without the goal arriving.  Balotelli trying another shot in the 38th inute with a super turn to switch gear and deliver a left footed shot.. bad thing is that Uruguay goalkeeper Muslera saving without a problem with both hands in the bottom left corner...  Balotelli cannot believe his luck, and neither do I.....

Referee Gava giving a yellow card to Uruguay forward Edinson Cavani in the 40th minute for a foul on Italy defender Andrea Ranocchia.

First half ending 68% ball possession Italy and 32% ball possession Uruguay

Second half......

Italy making a substitution in the 46th minute with Simone Pepe replacing Riccardo Montolivo..
Uruguay also making a substitution in the 46th minute Sebastian Coates replacing Diego Lugano

Oh well, match delay... guys, a forced substitution in the 51st minute with Uruguay and Bologna midfielder Diego Perez  injured and replaced by Sebastian Eguren.

Maybe we can see forward Giampaolo Pazzini  to take care of business and at least draw the game... but he is still on the bench.. not warming up...

Mama miaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hellooooooooooooooooooooo  guys in the 56th minute Christian Maggio  making an assist to Simone Pepe with a right footed shot having the time of his life to equalize and Muslera denying the joy to shout a goal saving in the bottom right corner!!!!

I am going to faint!!!!  Italy battling and chances appearing for the goal, but Muslera being an iron wall!!!!!!! Wonder whether Lazio president Lotito regrets not having Muslera !!!!!

In the 65th minute Italy with a substitution, Juventus forward Alessandro Matri replacing Pablo Osvaldo....  Matri gets ready.....

NO WAY!!!!!!  Muslera seems unbreakable!!!!  In the 78th minute there we had another chance with the assist by Daniele De Rossi to Federico Balzaretti in the center with enough space to accommodate the ball and deliver a right footed shot.. though a bit too weak... and here is the thing.. Muslera with a super stretch and with the tip of his fingers saves!!! deviating for a corner and now I am dropping all the popcorn on the keyboard, oh what a mess!!!!!!!!   Musleraaaaa hellllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

In the 81st minute  Referee giving the second yellow card to Alvaro Pereira and is automatically a red CARD now....

You got to be kidding...  Prandelli waited all these minutes to finally bring Pazzini!!!! Helloooo  in the 82nd minute Giampaolo Pazzini replacing midfielder Claudio Marchisio..   8 minutes to see what to do.....

In the 84th minute, time for Uruguay to make 2 changes and bring Lazio Alvaro  Gonzalez  replacing Christian  Rodriguez.   Emiliano Alfaro replacing Seba Fernandez.

In the 86th minute Referee Gomez giving a yellow card to goalkeeper Fernando Muslera for wasting time.....

In the 94th minute Uruguay with a substitution Andres Scotti replacing Maxi Pereira.

Agonizing final minutes...  Italy desperate....

In the 96th minute, hellloooo Chiellini with a foul on Edinson Cavani bringing him down and protesting as saying, get up!..... I think is more a desperate reaction, the impossibility of winning while the clock is practically tick tack the final......

No, no, nooooooooooooooooooooooo and nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Referee whistles the end of the game and is a defeat for the Azzurri!!!!!
