Chievo Verona seeing the light towards salvation while sinking Fiorentina.  Chievo needed just one goal to take the full 3 points, and they got it.  In the 66th minute an assist by Davide Mandelli to the left side finding Luca Rigoni ready to deliver a right footed shot and defeating Fiorentina goalkeeper in the center.  You bet today he is the hero for the flying donkeys.

A sour note is the comment  about Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo   caught on video with a smile during the one minute silence in solidarity of the victim  of the rainy storms in Genoa. A gesture criticized by some commentator as lack of respect.

 Chievo went from the 16th position  to the 14th position with 12  points   Fiorentina went down from  the 11th position  to the 13th position remaining with 12 points.  Deep problems for Mihajlovic contested by the fans.

Top scorer for Chievo are Sergio Pellissier and Moscardelli with 2 goals each while top scorer for Fiorentina is forward Stevan Jovetic with 5 goals.
