Here are the declarations from AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri after the draw with FC Bate Borisov in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. FC Bate Borisov 1 - 1 AC Milan
"Very disappointed because playing well for an hour, creating chances but not taking them as they come then everything gets complicated. We wasted two clear chances and we even risked losing in the end. I think the penalty given was excessive but we shouldn’t have got o that point. We have a lot of regrets about wasted chances, bad final passes and off target shots. When you’re playing against a weaker team, you have to try and close the game as quickly as possible because if you don’t, then you give them the chance to get their heads up. Before we can think about Barcelona, we have to get past the game with Catani and prepare for it as best we can to get to the break in the best possible shape. Nesta felt a twinge, but we don’t think it’s serious.”
