Parma opening the score in the 41st minute after a corner conceded by defender Steve Von Bergen. Two shots blocked by Jonathan Biabiany and Graziano Pelle before the final goal by Gabriel Paletta with a left footed shot shot defeating Cesena goalkeeper in the bottom left corner.

Second goal, also following a corner, this time conceded by Guillermo Rodriguez in the 71st minute. An assist by defender Christian Zaccardo with a headed pass to Alessandro Lucarelli delivering a right footed shot fro close range deafening Cesena goalkeeper in the high center. The ovation by Parma fans while sad faces from Cesena. It's another defeat, no way out, no light at the end of the tunnel.....
