 Lazio  reaching the  3rd position with 18 points just one point behind Juventus leading the Serie A table with 19 points.  Lazio and Udinese both with 18 points , though in goal difference Udinese  having +8 and Lazio  +7.   Cagliari from the 6th position went down to the  9th position with 13 points.
 
Top scorer for Cagliari is Daniele Conti with 2 goals while top scorer for Lazio is forward Miroslav Klose with 6 goals.  Klose is one goal behind the top scorer of the table: Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale with 7 goals.

Opening the score in the 39th minute is Lazio with  Senad Lulic from outside the box delivering a right footed shot defeating Cagliari goalkeeper in the botton right corner despite his stretch attempting to save with one hand..  The assist was by forward Djibril Cisse.  It's the first goal in Serie A  for Lulic.

Just before the end of the first half and Lazio silencing again the Sant'Elia stadium.  In the 44th minute, Cisse being a key player by providing the right footed assist  towards the center of the box where forward Miroslav klose  rushing to head the ball defeating Cagliari goalkeeper in the bottom right corner. By now, Klose reaffirming his favorite stats among Lazio fans for his goals, especially that from the Derby della Capitale.  Klose celebrating  with both hands

 First half ends 51% ball possession Cagliari and 49% ball possession Lazio.

Lazio silencing completely the Sant'Elia in the 88th minute with the third goal of the match.   Lazio forward Tommaso Rocchi with a right footed shot from close range defeating Cagliari goalkeeper in the center.   The final blow for Cagliari.
