Catania  making a comeback after being down in the 32nd second, not even the first h miute when Napoli forward Edinsocn V=Cavani added the cold shower bucket with his  goal adding pressure to Catania.   It took Catania 25 mintues to equalize and then in the 48th minute  havign the winnign goal.

Catania might play at ease without the pressure of the Champions League match. Napoli  have now the pressure of archiving this defeat and be ready for  Bayern Munich next week on Wednesday November 2.

Before the match, Catania are in the 10th position with 11 points and a negative goal difference of -1.  Napoli are in the 4th position with 14 points and a positive goal difference of +7.

The return from former Catania captain forward Giuseppe Mascara now playing for Napoli.  Mascara played for Catania from 2003 to 2011 making 226 appearances and scoring 58 goals.  Mascara transferred on January 31, 2011.

Top scorers for Catania with 2 goals each are Maxi Lopez, Bergessio and Lodi.  Top scorer for Napoli is forward Edinson Cavani.

Here is the disciplinary situation. No suspended players neither for Catania nor Napoli.  Two players with one yellow card for Catania: Spolli and Lanzafame.  One player with one yellow card for Napoli:  Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Say what......  in the very first minute Napoli opening the score!!!!!  realy? hm?  Yep.. el Matador Cavani with a left footed shot from close range silencing the Massimino after defeating Catania goalkeeper Andujar in the bottom left corner....  great cross by Andrea Dossena.

Catania equalizes in the 25th minute with Giovanni Marchese delivering a left footed shot from the left side of the box defeating Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis in the bottom right corner

Catania  now taking the lead in the 48th minute with assist by Adrian Ricchiuti to Gonzalo Bergessio  in the right side to head the ball defeating De Sanctis int he top right corner.
