Hello my friends. Here is the 2011 - 2012 Italy Serie A Preview Week 10 valid for Matchday 10 on Saturday October 29 and Sunday October 30, 2011. We are now on Week 10 and the leadership still available for almost everybody. Juventus are the sole leader with 16 points, but followed closely by Udinese and Lazio with 15 points, then, Napoli and AC Milan with 14 points, and Cagliari with 13 points. Simply put, the leadership can change this week. Atalanta have received 27 yellow cards so far.
The big Derby d'Italia is Inter v Juventus. Big difference with Juventus leading the table with 16 points while Inter are in the 17th position with only 8 points. It might be a decisive game to test their potential for the Scudetto.
It will be a historical encounter between AS Roma coach Luis Enrique and AC Milan assistant coach Mauro Tassotti. Seventeen years later of the 1994 World Cup episode when Tasotti elbowed Luis Enrique's face leaving him bleeding.

Inter - Juventus
Referee: NICOLA RIZZOLI Assistants: NICCOLAI – COPELLI Fouth Official: ORSATO
Inter slowly but surely gaining points. Among protests, Inter upset with the 5 penalties conceded against them up to Week 9. Juventus sole leaders and the team to beat this year. Ex Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri will face his former players. Ranieri coached Juventus from June 4 2007 to May 18, 2009. Ironically, Inter were Champions that year.
Inter are in the 16th position with 8 points and a negative goal difference of -4. Juventus are in the 1st position with 16 points and a positive goal difference of +7.
Bad news for Inter losing for injury goalkeeper Julio Cesar with a second-degree strain of an adductor muscle in his left thigh. Yet, not really bad. because goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi proving a key player in the match against Atalanta after saving the right footed shot penalty by forward German Denis. Injuries still worrying Ranieri losing also midfielder Thiago Motta, Ranocchia, Walter Samuel, and Diego Forlan. So... its emergency for Inter.
Juventus will also miss their first goalkeeper Gigi Buffon for injury. So, it will be goalkeeper Marco Storari to defend Juve. A game from both second goalkeepers to shine having this opportunity.
Top scorer for Inter is forward Diego Milito with 3 goals while top scorer for Juventus is forward Alessandro Matri with 4 goals.
Here is the probable formation for JUVENTUS (4-3-2-1): 30 Storari,
26 Lichtsteiner, 15 Barzagli,19 Bonucci 3 Chiellini,
22 Vidal, 8 Marchisio,
21 Pirlo,
7 Pepe, 14 Vucinic, 32 Matri

Anna Italia Prediction: JUVENTUS
AS Roma - AC Milan
Olimpico di Roma Stadium
Referee: DAMATO Assistants: MAGGIANI – DI LIBERATORE Fouth Official: BANTI
It will be the return of ex AS Roma defender Philippe Mexes to the Olimpico. Mexes played for Roma from 2004 to May 2011 making 183 appearances while scoring 11 goals. Mexes just made his debut with Milan in the match against Parma on Wednesday October 26. The ex Milan player is forward Marco Borriello playing for Roma now. Borriello played in Milan in two different terms, from 2000 to 2007 making 16 appearances and scoring one goal, then from 2008 to 2011 making 37 appearances and scoring 17 goals.
It's a pity Roma emblem Captain Francesco Totti will miss this game for injury. Angelo Massimino Stadium
Referee: CELI Assistants: TONOLINI – DI FIORE Fouth Official: VALERI
Here is the big question on whether Catania has what it takes to block Napoli. Catania will play at ease without the pressure of the Champions League match. Napoli will play against Bayern Munich next week on Wednesday November 2.
Catania are in the 10th position with 11 points and a negative goal difference of -1. Napoli are in the 4th position with 14 points and a positive goal difference of +7.

Here is the disciplinary situation. No suspended players neither for Catania nor Napoli. Two players with one yellow card for Catania: Spolli and Lanzafame. One player with one yelllow card for Napoli: Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Here is the probable formation for CATANIA (5-3-2):
21 Andujar, 13 Izco,
14 Bellusci, 3 Spolli, 6 Legrottaglie, 12 Marchese, 4 Almiron, 10 Lodi, 24 Delvecchio,

Udinese - Palermo
Friuli Stadium
Referee: GIANNOCCARO Assistants: BARBIRATI – DE PINTO IV: GERVASONI
Udinese in the first position with 16 points and a positive goal difference of +7 while Palermo are in the 7th position with 13 points and a positive goal difference of +1.
Palermo having 4 consecutive victories at the Renzo Barbera Stadium. Challenge is now to win this away game at the Friuli Stadium. However, Udinese on their quest to keep the leadership and be ready for the Europa League next game against Atletico de Madrid will pursue a home victory.
It will be an emotional game for the ex Palermo coach Francesco Guidolin now guiding Udinese. Guidolin coached Palermo in 2004 to 2005, then, returning from 2006 to 2008.
