"I want to win immediately with Milan," New AC Milan midfielder Alberto Aquilani

Italian Soccer Serie A  wishes Alberto Aquilani a successful season with his new team AC Milan.

MILAN - 17 international caps and three goals scored (the last was against Spain on August 10th), two Italian cup wins and one Italian Super Cup with Roma. This is what Alberto Aquilani's CV boasts as well as the fabulous 2006 ehen he scored the decisive goal in the derby in February and also provided a wonderful assist for Totti against Milan at the San Siro in November. We welcome Alberto Aquilani, age 27, from Rome, to the AC Milan family.

Alberto's arrival strengthens and completes Milan's midfield department. Last season he played regularly for Juventus accumulating a totl of 33 appearances, just like Krasic and Del Piero and only Bonucci, with 34 appearances played more than he did. Aquilani played in all the most convincing performances of the bianconeri last year (Inter-Juve 0-0, Milan-Juve 1-2, Juve-Inter 1-0, Roma-Juve 0-2 e Lazio-Juve 1-2) from the very first minute.

At Milanello Alberto will join fellow international team mate, Gianluca Zambrotta and Rino Gattuso, Philippe Mexes and Antonio Cassano. Share in Twitter, Facebook, Favorite Social Networks
