Good morning my friends.  It's countdown for the 2011 - 2012 Serie A Kickoff to start on Saturday August 27.  Yet, Serie A might not start due to a possible strike if there are no agreements between Lega and the Footballer Players Association.  Headlines today, and please don't even remind me, is about the tough lesson from Barca to Napoli with a smacking goleada 5 - 0. Oh what a headache!!!!

Trofeo Gamper,a total defeat at Camp Nou (0-5) against the team of Pep Guardiola.
Napoli, what a lesson from Barca!

Transfer Market news
- Gasperini wants Lavezzi or (Zarate)
Pocho [Lavezzi] the first of the list, alternative is Zarate. Maybe with Palacio, strop Forlan, Inter returning on Kuyt.

Guys, Inter are just playing their cards as to get immediately someone who could replace Samuel Eto'o.  Not an easy choice as there only few players "maybe with his level."  Gasperini's first choice is Ezequiel Lavezzi, but will he move from Napoli?  It's easier for Zarate to move since his relation with Lazio are "in red,,really tense.."  I keep hearing the Forlan thing... but Forlan saying he has not received an offer.

- Maybe there will be a place for Aquilani in Milan.

- Juve, It's Giaccherini's day and after maybe Alex and Lugano.

- Balotelli "I would like to play in Palermo"

Guys, wow, wow, wow hold your horses... I could not believe, well, hardly swallow the comment from Balotelli wanting to play in Palermo.  I can't imagine what will be the relation with Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini who is not tolerant for players lacking discipline or unrespectful.  Will Balotelli be a good boy in Palermo?  Will Zamparini take the risk of signing him?

- Peace negotiations between Lega and Footballer Players Association.
Abete mediating
Strike avoided?

Guys, we will know on Wednesday whether the Serie A will start as planned on Saturday August 27 or if there will be a strike.

- Napoli to lessons from Barca.
European champions ran over Napoli in the Trofeo Gamper: 5-0.  Fabregas and Messi. giving show in front of thousands of Italian fans.  Cavani''s super goal ruled out.

- Aquilani-Milan: Yes.
The agreement today:  He could debut this Saturday against Caglairi.

- Juventus transfer market not stopping.
Tomorrow is the day of Giaccherini

- Di Vaio and Totti friends at the beach but rivals on Sunday.

Guys, I just love this photo with Bologna captain Marco Di Vaio and AS Roma captain Francesco Totti having a good time at the beach playing volleyball.  However, on Sunday, forget about it... it's all rivalry because their teams are playing against each other.  Not to mention the super "physique" from Totti showing well defined muscles like those loved by "Michelangelo" for beautiful artwork.
- Inter are going after Kuyt.
Kuyt's manager saying "interesting offer." Although getting closer  Forlan and Kucka.

- Serie A in risk.

- Zamparini relaunches: "Palermo, I signed 3 players"
Sorrentino arriving for goalkeeper. Aguirregaray for the defense and one midfielder.

- Lazio, Zarate wants clarification, Arsenal on hold.
