What a beautiful day!  Oh yeah, you bet it is!  Italian National team defeating the 2010 World Cup champions SPAIN on Wednesday August 10, 2011.  Winning goal by midfielder Alberto Aquilani.  It's an important victory, a group effort and Italy Head Coach Cesare Prandelli satisfied with the team's effort pressing, not giving up.  I agree with Prandelli saying the team showed personality and courage.

Optimism for the future is the common reaction from players.  Reactions collected in the "mixed zone" after the game from Domenico Criscito, Giuseppe Rossi, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Riccardo Montolivo, Giampaolo Pazzini, Andrea Pirlo,Christian Maggio.

Am I happy, you bet I am! How about you? I will say among the best players were Domenico Criscito, Riccardo Montolivo who opened the score, and forward Antonio Cassano who was Captain for this game.  A surprise for Cassano because Captain Gianluigi Buffon making the gesture to make him this gift as he was playing in his hometown Bari.
