AC Milan training Monday August 1, 2011 for the Italian Super Cup on August 6, 2011

Final "retouch" for AC Milan players ahead of the big match of the 2011 -2012 season. Yep, AC Milan completing last training on Monday, August 1 at the Centro Sportivo Milanello with coach Massimiliano Allegri.  You better believe it, guys.  This was not your regular training.. no way Jose.. it was an intense two hours training starting at 9:30 and players without a doubt showing their best skills and disposition to be among the selected "11 formation."

As reported by AC Milan official website, training included:

 - Muscular warm-up.

-  Running the length of the training pitch at the sports centre in Carnago and jumping high hurdles.

- At the end of this opening phase,  AC Milan players  were split into two groups: one worked outside on one of the training pitches, the other headed into the gym where each player followed a personalized program

- Players then worked on sprints, one group covering 10-15 metres, the other 10, 20 and 30 metres.

- Following the athletic work-out, the players regrouped to work on tactics.

-  The session ended with a 20-minute practice match with 5 players against 7.

 
Coach Allegri announced the 24 called up players making the trip to Beijing China for the Italian Super Cup at the end of the game:

Goalkeepers:  Christian Abbiati, Marco Amelia, Flavio Roma

Defenders:  Ignazio Abate, Luca Antonini, Daniele Bonera, Alessandro Nesta, Taiwo, Thiago Silva, Gianluca  Zambrotta, Mario Yepes

Midfielders: De Sciglio (52), Massimo Ambrosini, Kevin Prince  Boateng,  Urby Emanuelson, Gennaro Gattuso, Clarence Seedorf,  Mark Van Bommel, Valoti (57)

Forwards:  Antonio Cassano, Zlatan  Ibrahimovic, Alberto Paloschi (43), Alexandre Pato, Robinho.
