Official New Inter Coach is Giampaolo Gasperini announced on June 24 2011

It's official now.  Inter Official website confirming on Friday June 24, 2011 new Inter coach will be Giampaolo Gasperini.  Gasperini is replacing former coach Leonardo.   Simply put, Inter will start their Summer Friendly games with a new coach.  Gasperini will have few weeks to prepare the team for the Super Dublin Cup scheduled on Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31, 2011,

Italian Soccer Serie A wishes Giampaolo Gasperini a successsful season with Inter and best wishes for Leonardo on his next project.

Here is the Press Release as published on Inter Official website on Friday June 24 2011:

MILAN - Gian Piero Gasperini will be the new Inter coach. President Massimo Moratti, currently out of Italy, confirmed his "full satisfaction with the choice" and, together with the entire club, wishes Gasperini "the success that brought Inter the title of world champions."

The official announcement will come as soon as the final bureaucratic formalities are completed and, in that moment, the date of his presentation to the press will be announced as well.

Gasperini, 53 years old, will sign a two-year contract. He will work with the Nerazzurri staff already present, along with two new collaborators: assistant Bruno Caneo and fitness trainer Luca Trucchi.
