25 Called Up Players by Italy Head Coach Cesare Prandelli for Italy vs Estonia on June 3 and Italy vs Ireland on June 7 2011

Italy Head Coach Cesare Prandelli called up 25 players for the  Italy vs Estonia game on June 3 valid for the EURO 2012 Qualifying and the International friendly game Italy vs Ireland on Tuesday June 7, 211.   Players will meed on Monday May 30  before 12:30 at the Coverciano Technical Center and will be dismissed on Tuesday June 7 after the match with Ireland.   First training scheduled at 16:00 on Monday.   On Tuesday, the Italian National team will play a practice match game against  Italy Under 18.  The team will depart to Modena on Thursday June 2 afternoon.

I am so glad to see Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo among the called up  despite the relegation from the team to Serie B.  New Juventus player Andrea PIrlo also called up and Manchester City forward Mario Balotelli returning along Villarreal forward Giuseppe Rossi. 

The Serie A 2010 - 2011 Season ended on May22 and players are vacationing, except the called up players for the various national teams.

Called up players from Inter and Palermo  will be evaluated on Friday May 27 from 12:30 to  Saturday May 28 at 13:00 as they are playing the Coppa Italia  Final on Sunday May 29.  Italy National Team Doctor Enrico Castellacci will have a press conference in Coverciano on Friday May 27 at 11:0 a.m.
