The 2010 - 2011 Serie A  season  already has a champion. Yep. AC MILAN won the Scudetto last  Sunday May 8 after the draw with AS Roma.  Milan will celebrate winning the Scudetto in San Siro in the last home game by wearing the new  AC Milan Kit  2011 - 2012 Kit, yep, new Jersey.   Battle now  i these 2 remaining games are for the Champions League spot in the 4th position, Europa League, and the relegation area with teams recharging for the full 3 points.  Here is the Preview of the Italian Serie A Week 37 Weekly Roundup  on Saturday May 14, Sunday May 15 and Monday May 16, 2011. 


An added boost for Palermo and Inter qualifying for the FINAL of the Coppa Italia. Palermo defeating AC Milan  at the Renzo Barbera Stadium and Inter defeating AS Roma.  Palermo 2 - 1 AC Milan
The  Coppa Italia final will be played on May 29 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.

A blow for Napoli. The season for Napoli forward Edinson Cavani is over as he was suspended for 3 games after being sent off during the game Lecce - Napoli.  It means the race for Top Scorer seeing a almost a one way leader with Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale having 28 goals  and was followed closely by Cavani with 26 goals.   Napoli will play a direct encounter this Sunday with Inter and tickets  almost sold out! .
 
A major blow in Champions League zone.  Yep, Lazio went down from the 4th position to the 6th position conceding the post for the Champions League to Udinese.

Another blow Lecce defeating Napoli wasting their chance to shorten the gap with Inter for the 2nd position.  Now there will be the direct encounter with Inter next Sunday at the San Paolo Stadium where Napoli can win the game and shorten to 1 point to hope for Inter to draw or lose the last game to take back the second position.

It's a direct  encounter for the second position.  Although both Napoli and Inter already securing their spots for the Champions League next season.  Napoli will go for the pride to win at the San Paolo stadium by defeating Inter.

It's the last  HOME game from AS Bari and their last SERIE A game this season as they are already relegated to Serie B.  Best shot for Bari will be to close the season with a victory and salute their fans.   It' wont' be an easy game as Lecce also need to win to  secure their permanence in Serie A.  If Lecce lose and Sampdoria defeat Palermo, than.... Lecce will go down to the 18th position and Sampdoria jumping to the 17th.

So, bottom line for  Sampdoria  is that they must win this game at their stadium for salvation and hope for Bari to defeat Lecce to take the 19th position.   Hum...  such a complicated situation for Sampdoria...  U N B E L I E V A B L E.. thinking they participated this season in the Champions League and Europa League and now risking going to Serie B.. what a fall!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH... let me repeat it loud!!!!!  OH MY GOSH.
