Here is the Roundup of the Italian Serie A Week 35 on Saturday April 30, Sunday May 1 and Monday May 2, 2011. Games will be completed until Monday with Lazio vs Juventus.  Inter managing to postpone AC Milan's celebration to claim the Scudetto this Sunday because Inter managed to defeat Cesena in extra time with the 2 goals by Giampaolo Pazzini in the 91 and 95th minute despite the goal from Cesena forward Igor Budan.    

AC Milan need only 1 more point  to win the Scudetto.   AC Milan sole leaders in the Serie A  with 77 points meaning  +8  points ahead of Inter  with 69 points and +9 points ahead of Napoli with 68 points.  As Roma pursuing the quest ot the 4th position by winning in the 9th  minute against AS Bari thanks to the goal of Aleandro Rosi  while Captain Francesco Totti break the record from forward Roberto Baggio scoring his 206th goal in Serie A one more than Baggio.  Lazio  failing to win at the Olimpico as Juventus got their mission  defeating Lazio in front of their fans.  There is only 1 point difference now between Udinese, (59)  AS Roma (59)  and Lazio (60). . 

AC MILAN 77 points and need only 1 more point to win the Scudetto

Cesena losing with Inter risking going down to relegation having only 37 points.  The one team already relegated to Serie B is Bari  having only 21 points. Brescia after taking the lead with Sampdoria  ended up with a draw and now risk going to Serie B having only 31 points and just 3 more games.  Brescia in  the 19th position are 4 points behind Lecce with 35 points and 5 behind Sampdoria in the 17th position with 36 points.
   


  Top scorers are Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale  and Napoli forward Edinson Cavani with 26 goals each. Last position for AS Bari relegated now to Serie B with only 21 points.

Cesena 1 - 2 Inter: In the 57th minute coming from the right side is Ceccarelli to send the cross to Budan.  it is the first goal of the season by forward Igor Budan to smack Inter goalkeeper Castellazzi with a right footed shot and putting Cesena ahead towards salvation while this result so far increases the chance for AC Milan to claim the Scudetto tomorrow Sunday if they defeat Bologna.  Nothing to do for defenders Lucio and Andrea Ranocchia as the ball past over them to the final destination finding Budan in his shining moment.

Pazzini in the 91st minute  equalizing the score  after the cross by Samuel Eto'o and Pazzini on the air with an acrobatic right footed volley smacking Cesena goalkeeper Antonioli in the bottom left corner.

Inter crushing, silencing all Cesena fans who were standing applauding, chanting in these last minutes with the winner goal by Giampaolo Pazzini in the 95th minute..  A pass frist by MIlito to Maicon and then Maicon to Pazzini to head the ball from the center  to smack Cesena goalkeeper Antonioli in the bottom left corner.  Inter not only ruining the party in Cesena with this result but also putting a hold to AC Milan not able to celebrate earlier the Scudetto...

AC Milan 1 - 0 Bologna: In the 8th minute a through ball by Robinho  to Flamini  in teh first attempt saved by Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano but  the loose ball like a magnet attracting Flamini  to open  the score and what a key goal  for the rossoneri  with a right footed shot  defeating Bologna goalkeeper Viviano in the center from close range.  This goal  gives Milan the assurance of the Scudetto  getting closer  every time.  Celebration from all Milan players and the joy from Flamini.  Milan fans in San Siro increasing their chants and you bet Flamini enjoying the moment while a close up from Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri with a sight of satisfaction..

In the 18th minute, it is Parma again!   Parma midfielder Francesco Modesto  coming from the left side to smack a left footed shot defeating Palermo goalkeeper Sirigu in the high center of the goal. The celebration by Modesto  sending the fans in paradise. A nightmare for Palermo.

Shortening the distance for Palermo is midfielder Javier Pastore in the 56th minute  after the first attempt t by Mattia Cassani hitting the post and on the rebound Pastore  smacking  his right footed shot defeating Parma goalkeeper in the bottom left corner.

The moment for Roma to take care of business after Bari defender Kamil Glik commits a foul on Roma forward Francesco Totti  in the 29th minute resulting in  a free kick for Roma.   Taking the free kick is Totti and guess what?  what!!!  Totti equalizing the  score with a right footed shoot directly  to the bottom left corner where  Bari goalkeeper Gillet could not save.  Totti now  equalizes the record of Roberto Baggio scoring 205 goals in Serie A.

Another cold shower for Rom with a tough Bari  putting strong fight to win this home ale to the joy of their fans even though they are already relegated to the Serie B.   In the 42nd minute an assist by Jaime Gomez to Erik Huseklepp who was int he center of the box to head the ball defeating Roma goalkeeper Doni in the bottom left corner. Immediately  Husekleep running towards the fans to celebrate while close up from a worried Roma coach Vincenzo Montella.

In the 56th minute Referee Carmine Russo gives a penalty to AS Roma conceded by Bari defender Nicola   Belmonte for a foul on Roma defender Juan.  Taking the penalty spot is Capitano Totti and a close up from his concentration, a serious look as sending a laser look to the ball... Totti prepares and there you go.. converts the penalty with a right footed shot defeating Bari goalkeeper Gillet in the bottom left corner.  Totti now  overtake the record from Roberto Baggio  by scoring his 206th goal in Serie A one more than Baggio.  Wow, way to go for Totti.

In the 95th minute a final impulse for Roma with the assist by defender John Arne Riise to Aleandro Rosi scoring the winning goal defeating Bari goalkeeper Gillet in the bottom right corner despite the super stretch... Immediately Rosi running towards the section of Roma fans and on his way  removing his shirt  while Marco Borriello runs also to congratulate him.  Roma winning the game in agonizing moment...
