Roma and Inter battling for the Coppa Italia as chances now from Roma to win the Scuetto are gone while Inter being 8 points away from AC Milan will want to save the season at least by winning La Coppa Italia.
News with Inter not having forward Samuel Eto'o because he twisted his ankle. For Roma Captain Francesco Totti is suspended for the match while defender Philippe Mexes ruled out for injury for the rest of the season.

In the 5th mintue, Referee Nicola Rizzoli giving the first yellow card of the match for AS Roma midfielder Rodrigo Taddei for a foul on Inter forward Goran Pandev.
Oh my gosh.. guys in the 9th minute what a wasted chance for Roma. A beautiful pass from forward Marco Borriello to Mirko Vucinic .. and oh my gosh... Vucinic all alone in front of the goal but while trying to accommodate the ball he miscalculates and slip missing this clear chance to open the score.
In the 14th minute Referee Niccoli giving a yellow card to Inter defender Maicon for a foul on forward Mirko Vucinic.
As awesome goal by Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic in the 45th minute having his personal "revenge moment" by scoring a super brilliant goal after an assist by Esteban Cmabiasso. Stankovic gets the ball and he accommodates to deliver a final right footed shot challenging AS Roma goalkeeper to a super stretch but not reaching to save... and this time the goal is not disallowed, but applauded. Immediate celebration including Inter bench while Leonardo also congratulating Stankovic.

In the 47th minute a little battle between Miko Vucinic and Inter defender Lucio as Vucinic seeming to elbow Lucio who is in the ground.
In the 52nd minute Referee Rizzoli giving a yellow card to AS Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso
Roma not finding their way to the goal yet and Inter dominating.
Inter looking to increase the score in the 54th minute with Stankovic as AS Roma goalkeeper Doni out of his goal. Doni should thank Burdisso for saving his place by clearing with his feet.
In the 58th minute a yellow card for Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia and he will miss the second round.. Ranocchia holdin back Roma forward Mirko Vucinic.
Ooops now it is Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder to get a yellow card in the 60th minute for kicking the ball away when Referee Rizzoli had whistle a foul.
In the 64th minute AS Roma substitution forward Marco Borriello for injury by forward Jeremy Menez.
Oh well 20 more minutes and things not happening for Roa, instead it is Inter the one looking closer to score another goal in the 72nd minute. Yep, a pass from Wesley Sneijder and Stankovic who looks hungry for more goals is being blocked by Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi... protests asking for a handball by De Rossi... i must tell you that Inter are looking better.. Roma still not back in the winner bandwagon.
Roma now trying the "Simone Perrotta" formula replacing midfielder Fabio Simplicio in the 73rd minute.
In the 76th minute Inter coach Leonardo replacing forward Diego Milito and brings forward Giampaolo Pazzini....
Time running by for Roma with only 10 minutes.... Close up from Roma captain Francesco Totti watchig the game from the tribune suffering seeing his team falling...
Oh well, and you must admit that today Inter had a better control of the match... Vucinic had his chances to score and wasted the chances... two clear ones....

wow, wow, wow... In the 89th minute AS Roma goalkeeper Doni denying a goal to forward Giampaolo Pazzini who was all alone in front of Doni after a pass from Wesley Sneijder and Doni anticipates deviates the ball....
Immediately in the 90th minute Roma responding also with midfielder Rodrigo Taddei with a right footed shot from outside the area attempting to equalize and is saved..
Nothing to do as Roma falling and Inter taking this victory to boost their morale..... Nothing is lost yet. The second round of the Coppa Italia Semifinal will be played on May 11 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
