Here is the Weekly Roundup for the Italian Serie A Week 33 on Saturday April 16 and Sunday April 17. Two crucial things happening on Saturday for the race of the Scudetto. Yep, the crumbling from Inter defeated by Parma, and AC Milan defeating Sampdoria to keep the lone leadership in the Serie A with 71 points meaning +8 points ahead of Inter with 63 points. However, Sampdoria now falling in the relegation area in the 18th position with only 32 points. It seems everything is working for AC Milan to win the Scudetto as their two main contenders falling from grace. Udinese defeating Napoli at the San Paolo and AC Milan now +6 points over Napoli.
Palermo defeating AS Roma at the Olimpico to almost crush the dream of the Roman gladiators to grab the 4th position to be in the Champions League next season. Roma not impressing the new "American owners." A brace by Palermo forward Abel Hernandez.
A disappointed match between Fiorentina and Juventus, the awaited comeback from Juventus. Yet, the goals did not arrive and week after week Juventus see their "Champions League dream" vanishing. Juventus not taking advantage from the helping hand by Palermo defeating Roma. Juventus a victory could have reached 54 points and overtaking the 6th position from Roma... well.. now they must be lamenting....
Lazio with a super goleada blasting Catania with a poker. Catania-Lazio with all the Argentinians in Catania, it looks more like a local Argentinian match where even opponent Lazio forward Mauro Zarate blasting his friends with the fourth goal in the 89th minute from a direct free kick.
For the fourth position in the Champions League zone, the battle is among Juventus, Udinese, Lazio, and AS Roma.

. AS Roma 2 - 3 Palermo: PENALTY!!!!!!! No kidding and you bet Coach Delio Rossi will be upset with Bacinovic! Why? Hello,,, Bacinovic with a foul on Jeremy Menez bringing him down inside the penalty box... and Referee Romeo not hesitating to grant the penalty and also giving a yellow card to Bacinovic..... Taking the penalty shot is Capitano Francesco Totti embraced by the support of the fans in the Olimpico.... Totti gets set, concentrates... then looking at the ball as transmitting laser rays. then, he goes and bam bam bam a right footed shot defeating Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu in the bottom left corner in the 20th minute. Immediate joy and celebration from the fans and players. It;s the 12th goal of the season for Totti in Serie A. Plus increasing his record scoring his 204 goal in Serie A.

Chievo Verona 2 - 0 Bologna: Chievo with an early goal in the 14th minute with Kevin Constant making his way to the center delivering a left footed shot while Bologna goalkeeper was struggling to stand up as before there was the pressing ... anyway, Constant defeating Viviano in the top left corner.. Constant thinking maybe it was not valid as he turning to see the linesman just in case .. and the goal is valid.

Lecce 3 - 3 Cagliari: Awesome goal!
