Here is the weekly Roundup for the Italian Serie A Week 31 on Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 3 after the International break.   The race for the Scudetto  back on AC Milan's side after the 2 goals by forward Alexandre Pato and the penalty converted by Antonio Cassano.  The hero "PATO" who was not supposed to play for having an ankle injured.. though hellooo if he scores in the 1st minute you bet he is healed!!!!  Applauding Pato from the tribune is his new love Barbara Berlusconi.   Milan taking a +5 point gap over Inter.   

Parma coach Pasquale Marino sacked after losing the game against AS BARI who are the last team of the Serie A this season. 

 Surprisingly, Lazio causing an upset at the San Paolo Stadium when leading by 2 goals only to lose the game with a hattrick from Napoli forward Edinson Cavani delivering the winning goal in the 88th minute.  Napoli are now 3 points away from Milan and overtaking Inter. Wow, Inter now going down to the third position! 

The Sicilian Derby on Sunday  seeing Catania smacking 4 goals to Palermo to claim the bragging rights to rule Sicilia. Palermo with the unlucky own goal by defender Federico Balzaretti to open the score for Catania. in the 48th minute.
 
Roma falling in the Olimpico defeated by Juventus with the goals by midfielder Milos Krasic and forward Alessandro Matri. Juventus with a ray of hope to make it for the Europa League while Roma losing these 3 golden points at home.  



Serie A leader on Week 31 is AC Milan with 65 points followed by Napoli with 62 points, and Inter with 60.  Last position is for  AS Bari with 20 points. Top scorers are Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale  and Napoli forward Edinson Cavani with 25 goals each.

Brescia 3 - 1 Bologna:   Opening the score in the 3rd minute is Brescia in a well coordinated action with 2 long rage passes to finally end on the way of Perparim Hetemaj running fast enough to arrive "at the right place and at the right moment"  in the center of the area to head the ball and bam defeating Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano in the bottom left corner after the assist by Marco Zambelli.   Hetemaj running to celebrate and you bet a loud chant by Brescia fans to embrace Hetemaj.

Well, well, well... if you are a Brescia fan, start jumping and cheerleading because there is a second goal!!!!!  Yep, Brescia in less than 10 minutes smacking Bologna with 2 goals!  In the 9th minute following a corner there is another headed goal this time by Davide Zoboli defeating Bologna goalkeeper Viviano in the top left corner.  Zoboli celebrates "alla Totti" lifting his arm and by now the dream for salvation closer for Brescia.

In the 30th minute  Bologna awakening and shortening the distance with the one and only iconic figure forward Marco Di Vaio!  Yep, in the 30th minute  Di Vaio coming from the left side of the box with 2 attempts first with right shot then with a left footed shot defeating Brescia goalkeeper in the center. This is the 19th goal of the season for Di Vaio.

Oh my gosh.... oh oh spaghetti ohhhhhh guys, Referee Rizzoli giving a penalty to Milan after Javier Zanetti commits a foul on Antonio Cassano and gets also a yellow card.   Taking the penalty spot is Cassano himself...  ready..... Cassano with a right footed shot converts the penalty defeating Julio Cesar in the center.

Yep, an assist by forward Mauro Zarate finding his teammate Stefano Mauri in the center of the box to deliver a left footed shot and smacking Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis in the bottom left corner.  De Sanctis with a gesture of what happened while Mauri running to celebrate....
