Here is the thing guys... what?! Well... AC MILAN might lose the first position if losing the Milan Derby with Inter. Only 2 points difference and if Inter win, they will be the new leaders with 1 point advantage.
We also have the Sicilian Derby between Catania vs Palermo and the clash of the traditional powerhouses AS Roma vs Juventus. Oh.. plus, the direct encounter between Napoli vs Lazio... so everybody is watching not only their own team's results, but also those affecting their teams to determine their standing. Looks things are working for Roma as Giorgio Chiellini will be out for 30 days, plus Alessandro Del Piero stopping his training on Thursday for problems on his left abductor

Brescia - Bologna
Italian Serie A standing: Brescia 19th place, 26 points
Bologna 10th place, 40 points
Referee: Romeo Assistants: Ayroldi and Altomare Fourth Official: Candussio
18:00 Italy time
Brescia still with chances for salvation, but unless they defeat Bologna.... things might go down the tube. Brescia holdin the 19th position with 26 points while the 20th position with AS Bari having only 17 points. Bologna practically saved and with the news that emblematic captain Marco Di Vaio ratifying he wants to stay in Bologna.
Bologna coach Alberto Malesani will have the last training closed doors. It's an emotional match for Bologna goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano who played for Brescia from 2005 to 2009 making 126 appearances. Viviano who returned after the break being goalkeeper in the friendly game against Ukraine without conceding a goal.

Top scorer for Brescia is forward Andrea Caracciolo with 8 goals while top scorer for Bologna is forward Marco Di Vaio with 18 goals. As for effective assists, very low shots... Hetemaj with 2 goals while Di Vaio with 3 assists.

Fact is that AC Milan either keep the leadership with a victory or a draw or Inter will become the new leader of the Serie A if defeating AC Milan. This is the pure fact. On a boosting note, Inter being the only Italian Serie A team still battling in the Champions League while AC Milan were eliminated.
Inter with a victory will be the extra energy to face Schalke 04 next Tuesday for the Champions League Quarterfinals at the Meazza.
Last season Leonardo was coaching AC Milan and he lost both Milan Derbies to ex Inter coach Jose Mourinho. This season, the one holding the key is AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri winning his first Milan Derby on November 14, 2010 against ex Inter coach Rafael Benitez.
Oh you bet, you will have the "legendary" figures from AC Milan and Inter attending the game. The morbo on seeing how the ex Leonardo and now considered a traitor by many AC Milan fans do with Inter. Don't even want to imagine what will happen if Leonardo manage to grab the victory because it means taking "away the Scudetto" from Milan's hands after Milan had a wide margin of 13 points difference in December 2010..
These are the 3 possible scenarios:
1.
If AC Milan defeat Inter, Milan will continue the sole leader with 65 points, Inter remaining with 60 points
Points difference in this scenario: 5 in favor of AC Milan
2.If
AC
Milan, draw with Inter, AC Milan will continue to be the leader with
63 while Inter will reach 61 points and might risk losing the second
position in case of Napoli defeating Lazio in the San Paolo Stadium.
Napoli have 59 points, but if defeating Lazio will reach to 62 points
and Inter will go down to the third position.
Points difference in this scenario for AC Milan - Inter: 2 points in favor of AC Milan.
3.If
Inter defeat AC Milan, then fasten your seat belts and prepare for a
rollercoaster end of the season... play the drums because we will see
Inter as new leaders sending AC Milan to the second position. Inter
will have 63 points while AC Milan remaining with 62 points..

Here is the disciplinary situation. AC Milan with 1
suspended player forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Four players carrying one
yellow card: Daniele Bonera, Gennaro Gattuso, Alessandro Nesta, and
Andrea Pirlo.
Inter with 1
suspended player defender Lucio Three players carrying one yellow card:
Samuel Eto'o, Yuto Nagatomo, and Giampaolo Pazzini
3 Key players for AC Milan: Goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, Defender Thiago Silva, and forward Alexandre Pato. Not sure on whether Pato will recover or not for the derby with his ankle injured. Bet will be with Cassano-Robinho.
3 Key players for FC Inter: Goalkeeper Julio Cesar, forward Samuel Eto'o, and midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
On a funny note, will the AY CHIHUAHUA now turn to Speedy Gonzalez "arriba arriba arriba" with Inter winning?!!!!!! This is the photo sent by Vito Intermobiliare in the first round ..... so Lucio suspended, Ranocchia injured ay chihuahuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Napoli - Lazio
Italian Serie A standing: Napoli 3rd place, 59 points
Lazio 5th place, 54 points
Referee: Banti Assistants: Cariolato and Maggiani Fourth Official: Damato
12:30 Italy time
Napoli will already know the result of their 2 main contestants for the Scudetto. AC Milan and Inter playing the Milan derby on Saturday while Napoli playing on Sunday. For Napoli, the ideal scenario will be for Milan to win or draw. If Milan win, Napoli might take back the second position and Inter will go down to the third position, depending on how many goals Inter concedes.... Goal difference right now in favor of Inter in case of losing to Milan. Inter with a positive + 24 while Napoli with a positive goal difference of +19.
The return from ex Napoli coach Edy Reja to the San Paolo and setting aside his emotions asking his team "to win this game."
Top scorer for Napoli is forward Edinson Cavani with 22 goals gee... what a difference with Lazio top scorer Hernanes having only 7 goals. As for effective assists Napoli also with advantage having Ezequiel Lavezzi with 9 as opposed to the 7 from Lazio midfielder Stefano Mauri.
General stats in favor of Napoli. There have been 65 games in Napoli including games from Serie A, Serie B, and Coppa Italia with the stats smiling for the Partenopei... will it continue smiling? Hey, even with goals, Napoli with a wide gap over Lazio.
28 victories Napoli
23 draw
14 victories Lazio
92 goals Napoli
66 goals Lazio
Last time Lazio defeated Napoli at teh San Paolo was on March 8, 2009
Napoli 0 - 2 Lazio goals by Lazio forward Tommaso Rocchi in the 12th and 20th minute.
Last draw on November 22, 2009 ending Napoli 0 - 0 Lazio.
Last victory from Napoli on December 22 1996 Napoli 1 - 0 Lazio goal by Cruz. Oh. yeah... well, in the Coppa Italia Napoli defeating Lazio too on November 19, 1997 with Napoli 3 - 0 Lazio... oh well... seems like Lazio will really have an uphill battle at the San Paolo.
It's no secret that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentis believe and encourage his team to not throw up the towel just yet because the Scudetto still reachable. An advantage for Napoli is the good moment from forward Edinson Cavani.. so it's now a one on one with Cavani and Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.Napoli : Football Shirts, Football Kit and Football Strip - UKSoccershop.com - Official Soccer Merchandise
