  We are back to our Italian Serie A after the International break.  It's now the countdown towards the end of the 2010 - 2011 Season. Yep.  After this game there are only 7 more games.   Here is the thing guys... what?!  Well...    AC MILAN  might lose the  first position if losing the Milan Derby with Inter.  Only 2 points difference and if Inter win, they will be the new leaders with 1 point advantage.

We also have the Sicilian Derby between Catania vs Palermo and the clash of the traditional powerhouses AS Roma vs Juventus.  Oh.. plus, the direct encounter between Napoli vs Lazio... so everybody is watching not only their own team's results, but also those affecting their teams to determine their standing.  Looks things are working for Roma as Giorgio Chiellini will be out for 30 days, plus Alessandro Del Piero stopping his training on Thursday for problems on his left abductor 


 
 


Serie A leader on Week 30 is AC Milan with 62 points followed by Inter with 60 points, and Napoli with 59.  Last position is for AS Bari with 17 points and already with a one way ticket to Serie B. Top scorer is Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale with 25 goals followed by Napoli forward Edinson Cavani with 22 goals.

Fact is that AC Milan either keep the leadership with a victory or a draw or Inter will become the new leader of the Serie A if defeating AC Milan. This is the pure fact. On a boosting note, Inter being the only Italian Serie A team still battling in the Champions League while AC Milan were eliminated.

Inter with a victory will be the extra energy to face Schalke 04 next Tuesday for the Champions League Quarterfinals at the Meazza.

Last season Leonardo was coaching AC Milan and he lost both Milan Derbies to ex Inter coach Jose Mourinho.  This season, the one holding the key is AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri winning his first Milan Derby on November 14, 2010 against ex Inter coach Rafael Benitez.

 3.If  Inter defeat AC Milan, then fasten your seat belts and  prepare for a rollercoaster end of the season... play the drums because we will see Inter as new leaders sending AC Milan to the second position.  Inter will have 63 points while AC Milan remaining with 62 points..

         Points difference in this scenario: 1 point in favor of Inter.
