Italy goalkeeper and Captain of the Italian National Football team Gianlugi Buffon showing optimism towards the future of the Azzurri during the press conference at the Technical Center of Coverciano on Tuesday, March 22. On the upcoming match against Slovenia valid for the UEFA Euro 2012 qualification, Buffon said: "We know it won't be an easy game. We don't feel inferior to Slvoenia, but one cannot always be favorites, especially when is an away game."
Buffon continuing saying, "we are going to play an intelligent game. Our objective is the victory
Buffon also emphasizing that this new Italy has a solid cornerstone which the assignation of Italy Head Coach Cesare Prandelli. "He is the coach for the team and for our prospective."
Buffon's objective to win the game is that of the entire team to qualify as soon as possible for the EURO 2012. Positive energy is with all the group. Surely, a victory will put Italy to 13 points assuming Estonia win their game against Serbia on March 29, the gap will be of 4 points.
