How can we describe the joy of watching the legendary players once again and united for a good purpose?  Just MARVELOUS!  The Olimpico Stadium di Torino with a gala  game featuring the "Derby SLAncio di Vita" between Juventus  and Torino on Wednesday March 23, 2011.   The Derby SLAncio di Vita contributing for the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)  for the research into the motor neurone disease.  Inspiration for this Derby is ALS sufferer Michele Riva.

 Referee Roberto Rosetti  directing the  Derby.  A total of 31 Juventus legends supporting Mauro and Ginaluca Vialli with the Derby  raising 223,000 for the fight against SLA:   Bonini, Boniperti, Cabrini, Carrera, Causio, Chimenti, Cuccureddu, Davids, De Agostini, Furino, Gentile, Grabbi, Iuliano, Marocchi, Marocchino, Montero, Nedved, Padovano, Porrini, Rampulla, Ravanelli, Storgato, Tacchinardi, Tacconi, Tavola, Torricelli, Tudor, Vierchowod, Vieri, Vignola e Zidan

I had tears watching the videos with the great Zinedine Zidane, Pavel Nedved, Davis, Vialli. wow..   You got to watch the video guys.    A playful Zidane kissin the  baldi Vieiri's head,   fans welcoming  Marcello Lippi,  Davis...wow...  Il Capitano Alessandro Del Piero  making the entrance with  Michele Riva on a wheelchair.
 
The first half was dedicated to over 45s  to Vialli and Ravanelli, Gentile and Cabrini, Causio and Cuccureddu. First half with a lead by Torino with  a goal from Leo Junior, a player who along with Michel Platini gave life to unforgettable derbies in the ‘80s.

The second part dedicated to over 35s was only black and white: Juve overcame Toro 2-1 thanks to goals from Pavel Nedved and Porrin.
