Pietro was the winner last week for the Picture of the Week Quote. Here was his quote for this picture of Gigi Buffon and Zlatan Ibrahimovic:

"Man, my respect to you as best goalkeeper and our friendship, but I am moving the pieces of the game now and my Milan are superior. Either you move, man, or prepare for the Ibrahimovic's missile goals. Buffon to Ibrah, tell Berlusconi I am ready for the switch. See you after the game for a glass of wine."

Leonardo of Internazionale was over the moon after beating Bayern Munich in quotes with il Corriere dello Sport:

"Goran Pandev's goal transformed a disaster into joy. He has gained back all that seemed to be lost on a personal level of esteem on the part of his detractors. Since January, this team has shown itself to have a great personality, character and experience. It's a very tight group and this is a fundamental thing when games go poorly like tonight (v. Bayern). Samuel Eto'o and Wesley Sneijder were decisive."

Bastian Schweinsteiger of Bayern Munich shows his thin skin over allegations about Marco Materazzi with il Corriere dello Sport:

"Now I understand what Zinedine Zidane felt. Materazzi began to provoke even in the tunnel before the kick-off and never stopped. He did to me what he did to Zidane."

Massimo Cellino, the President of Cagliari, did something historic: He rewarded his fans for their support of the home team and sportsmanship/fair play shown to the visitors:

*** Quote of the Week ***

Despite the heavy defeat at home by Udinese, the public yesterday (Monday) at Sant'Elia stadium never stopped cheering on their own team. And at the end even reserved a standing ovation for Sanchez and Di Natale (when they were subbed out) and applauded the victors.

For this reason, the President of Cagliari, Massimo Cellino, in a way of thanking them, "For the maturity that the fans displayed," decided to give the fans who were present yesterday a free ticket for the next home match against Brescia.

"An example of civility" was seen on Cagliari's website, "A manifestation of attachment to the team's colors with a great spirit of belonging that reaffirms their value for following the team for years."

Silvio Berlusconi celebrated 25 years at the helm of AC Milan and discussed his two favorite Brazilians in quotes made to La Gazzetta dello Sport:

Thomas DiBenedetto, new owner of AS Roma, saw his first Roman Derby in quotes with il Corriere dello Sport:

«Quite a match!»

"Quite a match."

"I saw a team go on the field with the right spirit. With a desire to sacrifice and the proper mental approach. Let's hope that it continues like this."

"Yesterday, the captain of Roma (Francesco Totti) demonstrated how much he can still give to make the difference and how he can raise the level of the team."

Note: I don't know if Mr. DiBenedetto's comments were made in Italian or English after the first quote.

Vincenzo Montella of AS Roma on his first derby as a manger in quotes with il Corriere dello Sport:

"I have a distant memory of my four goals in the Roman derby. The feelings are different in respect to when I scored but there are always great. It's a special joy during a tough time. It was a well-played game and a needed victory."

"Totti is a great player and when he is in this physical condition, he's also a player who would make anyone comfortable."

Francesco Totti of AS Roma on his derby secrets in quotes with il Corriere dello Sport:

«Avevo studiato le loro mosse. E avete visto?

"I studied their moves. Did you see? I didn't react... They waited for me to react: I demonstrated that I wouldn't be provoked by anyone. And I didn't give anything away to the opponents."
