Notice the big absent from the called up players is Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale who is also the top scorer of the Serie A with 25 goals.   Well, also Bologna forward Marco Di Vaio with 18 goals not called up.  First game with Slovenia is for the qualification of the EURO 2012, so why ot havintg those who are actually scoring and showing consistency?  Sure, for the friendly against Ukriane, Prandelli can test the potential forwards "younger" crowd  who are  low in goals or not playing much with their teams.  Where Italy cannot risk is in "every qualification game."
