Here is the weekly Roundup for the Italian Serie A Week 29.  The race for the Scudetto seems a two-race between AC Milan and Inter.  Brescia stopping Inter to take the full 3 points and  had a draw which means AC Milan with 61 points and Inter with 57 having now a 4 point difference.   The upset by the 2 teams leading the table  yet unable to  increase their lead against "so-called" small teams.    AS Bari even taking the lead in San Siro until the ex Bari boy Antonio Cassano equalizing in the 82nd minute.     Inter now have to  prepare for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Taking advantage of  AC Milan and Inter drawing their respective games is Napoli.  Yep, Napoli defeating Parma at the Ennio Tardini and now  with 56 points only 1  difference with Inter.  Napoli were holding the second place and  you bet next week will be interesting to see how it goes.  Udinese  having "a dance on their own" at the Sant'Elia Stadium defeating Cagliari with 4 goals, two of them by Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale reassuring his sole leadership as top scorer with 24 goals.

Another highlight is the debut  with a defeat  from new Sampdoria Coach Alberto Cavasin after the sacking from coach Domenico Di Carlo.   Sampdoria defeated by  Catania with the goal by Cristian Lllama.   Sampdoria remaining in 10 when   Fernando Tisone was sent off in the 23rd minute.

AS Roma winning the Derby della Capitale with two goals by Roma captain Francesco Totti while at the end of the game  Lazio remaining with 9 players after Referee Emidio Morganti sends off  Stefan Radu and Christeian Ledesma where there were players protesting.  Lazio going down to the 5th position.

Juventus once again failing to "capitalize" a leadership and allowing a draw with Cesena.  By now, Juventus should wave their chances to qualify for the Champions League next season and even the Europa League as they keep slipping every week.  Cesena now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for salvation grabbing 1 point to add 29 points.

Derby della Capitale won by AS ROMA!!!!

The  highlight of the week is the Celebration of the 150 Year of the "Unita' d'Italia - Unity of Italy " celebrated by the Lega Calcio.  The National Anthem of Italy will be sung before each game.

Serie A leader on Week 29 is AC Milan with 62 points followed by Inter with 57 points, and Napoli with 56.  Last position is for AS Bari with 17 points. Top scorer is Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale with 24  goals followed by Napoli forward Edinson Cavani with 20 goals.
