I checked Palermo official website and the official note is not there.  However, declarations from Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini after the game, as reported in La Gazzetta dello Sport,  declaring that "Rossi has 1% of possibility to stay.  It's a destroyed team, he has ruined my Palermo.  Rossi has destroyed this team. I have told  the coach to  put in order the defense and he  did not do it.  Rossi took away Munoz who is the best defender. One cannot play like this." Reportedly,  the new coach is Serse Cosmi who will be officially announced on Monday, February 28, 2011...

I watched  the declarations from Palermo forward  and symbol of Palermo  Fabrizio Miccoli backing Delio Rossi 100% and even saying the team were with Rossi.    Though the final decision depended on Zamparini.

I WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE.....

In this interview after the match, Zamparini even  saying that former AS Roma coach Claudio Ranieri  did well when he resigned after having lost  the Serie A Week 25 match against Genoa when Roma were winning 3-0 and lost the game 4-3 with a comeback from Genoa to snatch way the 3 points.
