Here is the weekly Roundup for the Italian Serie A Week 27.  How exciting to see a close race for the Scudetto!!!! It's just anybody's game.. AC Milan still having  the winning card leading with 58 points, Inter 53, and Napoli with 52 points. It's pure madness this week with the top 6 teams battling and checking upon each other  for their mistakes to move forward the table.. Napoli now eliminated from the Europa League will concentrate on the league while AC Milan still playing in 3 fronts: Serie A, Champions League, and Coppa Italia.

The super highlight of the week must be the super goleada from Udinese  at the Renzo Barbera Stadium with a smacking goaleada Palermo 0 - 7 Udinese Two hattrick in one match!  One hattirick  by  Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez and the second one by Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale. You can buy a whole case of Tylenol to ease the headache for Palermo with this S M A C K I N G  G O L E A D A.

First upset  this week is the defeat at the Olimpico di Torino from Juventus beaten by the ex Juventino  and now Bologna captain Marco Di Vaio scoring two goals.  Juventus 0 - 2 Bologna  How important this victory for Bologna that party is a must since the last time Bologna defeated Juventus was on January 13, 1999 in Coppa Italia ending Bologna 2 - 1.  The hero  is Marco Di Vaio reaching now 16 goals this season.

Among the highlights this week is the possible 600th appearance with AS Roma  from  captain Francesco Totti if playing against Parma. Totti playing with Roma 463 games in Serie A, 45 in Coppa Italia, 86 in European competition and 5 in other tournaments.   It is also the second game from new Roma coach Vincenzo Montella and the first one at the Olimpico.  Also for Fiorentina, forward Alberto Gilardino scoring his 200th professional goal in the game against AS Bari in the 20th minute.

Serie A leader on Week 27 is AC Milan with 58 points followed by Inter with 53 points, and Napoli with 52.  Last position is for AS Bari with 16 points. Top scorer is Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale with 21  goals followed by Napoli forward Edinson Cavani with 20 goals.
