Inter suffering a defeat at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in the UEFA Champions League game where Bayern Munich smacked the winning goal in the 90th minute.  This defeat was not easy to swallow, especially for goalkeeper Julio Cesar who after the game preferred to walk home instead of driving.  Julio feeling guilty for conceding the goal... well, it's time for Inter to shake up and get rid of the dust to get back in the winning bandwagon.

Here is the thing.  Inter need a victory to reach second position with 53 points.  Inter will look for AC Milan - Napoli either to draw or for Napoli to lose to close the gap with AC Milan.  Milan having 55 points.  Moreover, Inter  rather have a victory before  their trip to the Allianz Arena for the Champions League game.

Not an easy game for Inter considering that in the last 5 official games, they have scored only in 2 games:  Copa Italia 1-0 with goal by Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2009  and on Week 8  this season October 24, 2010 Sampdoria 1 - 1 Inter with goal by Samuel Eto'o

Making matters worst, midfielder Esteban Cambiasso will be out for this game after injuring during the Champions League game against Bayern Munich.  Adding more to the injured list is  Thiago Motta  also out at least 2 days..  Milito still out.  

Highlight of the match is the return for the first time of ex Sampdoria forward Giampaolo Pazzini now playing for Inter.   Pazzini played for Sampdoria from 2009  to 2011 making 87 appearances and scoring 44 goals.

Fans receiving   Pazzini with gratitude not with whistles... good for him .   I am so happy for this attitude towards Pazzini who did a lot for Sampdoria along Antonio Cassano.

Hey, hey, hey, in the 3rd minute a super run from Inter defender Yuto Nagatomo who by the way is taking the pace from Maicon because he is suspended... Nagatomo  with a fast run making a pass to Samuel Eto'o  though Lucchini  clearing danger....

Sampdoria reacting and in the 4th minute there is defender Reto Ziegler making a cross to defender Daniele Gastaldello in the center heading the ball  forcing Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar  with a stretch  to save in the bottom right corner.

Oh my gosh  guys.. in the 28th minute  Sampdoria are bombarding Julio Cesar!!!!    First  from a corner with .a whole revolu in the area following the corner the ball falling in the  feet of  Macarone , Dessena also there but then  surrounded by Inter players and the ball   like not knowing where to stop   ..  .. oh well immediately it is Daniele Mannini to smack the ball and Julio Cesar not losing sight of the ball and save keeping the ball  tight  to his chest as saying "you wont' escape"

Guys  I see Maccarone, Kharja, and Eto'o   in constant battle trying to see who can score first....

In the 30th minute match delay for  injury.. Houssine Kharja...

Oh my gosh...     in the 35th minute Maccarone so close to score after the  long  range pass from Stefano Guberti but not reaching on time by millimeters to  make the final push in front of Julio Cesar.  Maccarone can't believe his luck!   Well, at least he is trying..

wow,w ow mamma miaa hellooooo Sampdoria again   with clear chance to score but  there is no clarity  or the ball lacking direction as to finalize the action...  in the 38th minute  defender Reto Ziegler from close range ready to score and what happened??? well. there it is Inter defender Rannocchia  blocking the action.....   defender vs defender!!!! 

NO way, not possible and you can hear the loud  OHHHHHHHHHHH from Sampdoria fans when  the right footed shot from Poli  hit the post!!!!!!!!

what hello. guys     no kidding me  Ziegler  bringing down Javier Zanetti and players protesting the fans  too..   and this is becoming a battle for power...

In the 45th minute the miraculous  save  after a clear  goal "destined' but   Sampdoria Curci  denying Samuel Eto'o the joy to shout a goal....  he can't believe it....  you bet neither Inter players  believe it... this was so close....

This is it guys Referee Gervasoni whistles the end of the first half with 37% ball possession Sampdoria and 67% Inter....   both had their chances to score.. let's see  what happens in the second half...  tie to get something to eat... bring some snacks......

So, what you had for snacks?????   I forgot to buy popcorn which is my usual snack during games low in calories and high in fiber.....  so had to prepare some  salty pita bread with olive oil and  crushed garlic....

In the 48th minute another chance for Sampdoria with Gastaldello missing the target.....  wondering when is the goal coming either for  Samp or Inter...

Chivu  brings down Mannini bu  Referee Gervasoni considers it regular.. so  match continue....

We are piling foul after foul.... no goals.. in the 58th minute  Kharja commits a foul on Stefano Lucchini.....

Oh wowwwww    in the 60th intue Sneijder  somehow  arriving fast  between two Sampdoria  player  to make a left footed shot  alerting Sampdoria goalkeeper Curci and the ball so close... but missing to the left... assist by Eto'o....

In the 62nd minute   there it is Samdporia   with assist by Angelo Palombo  and again with Maccarone delivering a left footed shot from the center  closer to the goal though Julio Cesar saving in the bottom left corner.
