What a difference in position with Germany ahead of 10 position compared to Italy.  It's wake up call for the Italian National Football team to recover  their best shape wiht the "new Italy."   It's a preparatory testing friendly game to prepare for the EURO 2012 qualification.

It's a deja vu... Germany and Italy.... the memories of the 2006 World Cup Semifinal  when Italy won the match with goals in the last two minutes of extra time from Fabio Grosso in the 119th minute and Alessandro Del Piero in the 120+1  minute leaving Germany out of the final on July 4, 2006.

News with Italy first goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon making his return to the Azzurri after 8 months since injuring during the 2010 World Cup South Africa game Italy vs Paraguay on June 14, 2010.   In the attack is the reunion of the ex Sampdoria duo Cassano-Pazzini.  Surely there is already the connection and since there were only 2 day trainings rather to have players who already  know each other. 

Here is the thing, it is a long road for Italy to recover from the elimination in the first round of the 2010 World Cup while Germany made it to the third position. Yet, nothing is  impossible and Italy can make it back to the top.  So, join me guys to root for the Italian National team.   It's a new team, new coach, new vision...

Oh my gosh, there is Klose and Podolski in the lineups.. those guys are the ones to mark!.

Prandelli announced the lineup one day before.

Making his debut with the Italian National Team is 22-years-old Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia in the lineup.

We are set guys, start  rooting  for the Azzurrriiiii  wave your Italian flags, forzaaaaaaaaaa

Oh come on... guys,  some German fans are whistling during the  anthem of Italy... oh gosh.. well... I guess they are still resenting the fact that Italy eliminated them in 2006 for the final and  eat your hearts out but Italy won the 2006  World Cup,, forzaaaa come on Italy....
 
I am already  going crazy with three TV at the same time   following Germany-Italy,  France Brazil and  Portugal vs Argentina all having our Serie A players....

In the 5th minute there is a clear and present danger for Italy while defender Leandro Bonucci clears ... Schweinsteiger and Ozil challenging  the Azzurri.. come on   Italia, let's our defense be alert....
 
In the 10th minute there is Giampaolo Pazzini, il Pazzoooo challenging Germany's defense  ...  come on Pazzini
 
Noway, no kidding!!! Guys in the 15th minute  midfielder Riccardo Montolivo closer to score with a right footed shot and is saved in the bottom right corner after an assist by Thiago Motta...

Just one minute later and there is a headache!   Germany taking the ladd with an assist by Thomas Muller to Miroslav Klose delivering a right footed shot from the center and defeating Italy goalkeeper Buffon in the center.  oh come on Italiaaaa, come on Azzurriiiiii   I demand now a goal by Cassano or Pazzini, come on guys,

Hello, I am telling you guys,  our defense giving  much space to Klose and he is the one to  mark!  Hello in the 18th minute there is again Klose challenging Italy w after an assist by Mesut Ozil, Klose with a right footed shot coming from the left side and  Buffon saves in the center..... wake up Italiaaaaa corner  conceded by Buffon..

Guys, in the other friendly game Portugal vs Argentina,,, Argentina scoring with De Maria. and our Serie A players Lavezzi, Cambiasso playing.....

hello Italia... we are already in the 30th minute and no goals from Italy,, come on..  Cassano is battling but not finding his way to the goal.     Guys, keep pushing Italy bandwagon, we got to win this game....

Match delay in the 36th minute... Sami Khedira.....  continue? no? yes?  Yes, he  will continue....

In the  37th minute a combo trio Cassano-Chiellini - De Rossi....  there is the Roman gladiator Daniele De Rossi  with a right footed shot from the center after an assist by Giorgio Chiellini and is saved in the top center.... oh gosh... nothing will please me more than see De Rossi scoring....  "mi batte il cuore!!!!"
 
In the 38th minute, Cassano attempting a connection with Daniele De Rossi but the whole action is blocked when De Rossi  tried his right footed shot from outside the box...

This is not possible... a penalty!!!  Where is the referee looking at?????  In the 43rd minute Cassano making his way to the penalty area and is brought down and you bet Cassano protesting clearly... this is a penalty... but not for the referee...  oh well, now Cassano is mad and I hope he controls his temper, we don't want  yellow or red cards for protest.....

  Say what???? hellooooo there is a penalty but not given to  Italy!!!!  A handballllllll in the 45th minute!!!!  oh well, hello, helllo.... Cassani  making his way  into the box delivering a right footed shot after an assist by Cassano and blocked arguabley with the hand by Aoogoooooo replay showing it  hit the hand !!!!

First half over and  time for Prandelli to deliver a pep talk and find some way to  win this game.  Most likely we will see forward Alessandro Matri in the second half and I am  ready to root for Matri making his debut...

oh mamma miaaa guys  in my third TV there is the goal by Benzema  defeating our Brazil Inter goalkeeper  Julio Cesar in the game  France vs Brazil... 1-0.  in the 56th minute and guess who made the assist?/ yep, our Roma forward Jeremy Menez with a cross to Benzema....  defeating Julio  in the center..
 
 When is Italy scoring??????   I can't believe  Italy not scoring yet!!!!

This is it... we might say that the second half  was better than the first with Prandelli asserting his changes.  Well done for everybody.  Now, it's time to  work harder for the EURO 2012 qualification.
