"It gives me a strange effect to be here  because in 7 days my life has changed.  From Cagliari I went to Torino and from Torino  I have arrived here which is the dream of very footballer.  I hope not to wake up and continuing to dream.  My gratitude for this called up with the National team especially to Cagliari because in 3 years a half  they gave me trust and continuity even when I was not at my best. Also, thanks to Cagliari President because he gave the ok to my request to play in a big team."
 




Matri saying that "On Christmas I made my wish to play with Cassano. I have realized this dream today with the Italian National team and gives me a great feeling."

Regarding how he feel with his new team Juventus, Matri saying "Juventus  have welcomed me and Gigi Riva gave me his compliments too.  The only unpleasant  thing is the whistles that I received in Cagliari."  Matri referring to the match  where he scored 2 goals and his ex fans whistled and booed him.... Matri also clarifying that there is no rivalry with Inter forward Giampaolo Pazzini and they are both  training to be in the  lineup.
