Claudio Ranieri, manager of AS Roma, shared his unique way with words in "heady" quotes to La Gazzetta dello Sport:

E vorrei continuare a farlo qui, a lungo.

..
"It's not easy to manage Roma, but it intrigues me. I'd like to continue doing it here for a long time. The contract doesn't interest me. I only know that in a historic moment such as this, if the manager has to lose his head, it would cause a revolution. But I'm not going to lose it, because it's my job and because this is my childhood team. For which, in a storm, I don't lose my head."
Other memorable quotes from the man dubbed "The Tinkerman" by the English media:
"I'm just a dead man walking." "It was a pseudo penalty kick." "It resembled a game of beach soccer."
Mario Balotelli showed his disdain for Jose' Mourinho and respect for Roberto Mancini in quotes made in La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Mourinho is the best manager in the world, but as a man, he still must learn manners and respect... Silvio Berlusconi was wrong (calling Cassano the best Italian talent) or knows little about Balotelli...
Who's the best in the Serie A?
"Ibra is great. He's on another planet... Giovinco is the best Italian player... Sneijder deserved the Golden Ball."
On Roberto Mancini:
"He's the most important coach that I've had. Soon he will become the best in the world. As a man, he is 10 kilometers ahead of Mourinho."
Azzurri boss, Cesare Prandelli, on Antonio Cassano, his openness to naturalized Italians and the lack of Italians on some teams in quotes made to La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Cassano feels a great responsibility because he is becoming a father. He feels a great responsibility for his family and I think that he will not make further mistakes."
On the asylum reference made by Cassano:
"Above all, (joked Prandelli), he should have more press conferences because he is very kind."
On naturalized Italians and the lack of Italians at certain clubs:
"I believe that it isn't a problem if one works and has all of his papers in line and in all effects is an Italian player...
In the Italian Super Cup between Inter Milan and Roma, before the game from a manager's perspective, I saw only three Italians on the pitch among 22 players."
Samuel Eto'o spoke about a final career wish and a future desire to become the Internazionale "mister" in Tutto Sport:

"Yes, in my last year of playing, I'd like to go to Mallorca (in La Liga.) The team that gave me the opportunity to grow up. In this world of football, Mallorca gave me the opportunity to become a man and this is something without a price. For this reason, I hope that my last smile on a soccer pitch is with Mallorca. Because there I smiled for the first time. And then I would like to return here to manage Inter."
The philosophical Leonardo of Internazionale compared his team to the Brazilian Formula 1 legend, Ayrton Senna:
Please note: Ayrton Senna tragically died in a crash at Imola in 1994.

"Let's only think about ourselves. It's futile to do otherwise right now. It's impossible that Inter doesn't think of winning. It's in its DNA. If Ayrton Senna started from 25th place on the racing grid, he still thought about winning... It's not my Inter; it's Inter. A team that has won everything and has important characteristics. Such as intensity and making themselves available (to each other and the manager). It wasn't I who created these players. They know what they want and what they must do."

Please add a quote to this picture:
Here is mine: "Do you know how lucky you are to play against the best player in this league? No, I'm not talking about Cassano."
