Antonio Cassano, dressed to the nines in Dolce and Gabbana, was all smiles at his presentation news conference for AC Milan:

AC Milan's player Antonio Cassano (L) shakes hand with AC Milan's Vice President Adriano Galliani, during a presentation at the Milanello training center in Carnago, northern Italy January 14, 2011.
"Sono sicuro che questa sarà la mia ultima tappa; sono al top: dopo il Milan c'è solo il cielo".
"Quando sono arrivato qui mi sono ambientato subito. Non sono mai stato un grande lavoratore, poi ho visto Ibra, Seedorf, Gattuso e Nesta che si allenavano sputando sangue e mi sono chiesto: perché non fare come loro? Sto lavorando come un cane, ma sono felice...Se sbaglio al Milan, sono da manicomio".
**** Quote of the Week ****
"I'm sure this will be my last pit stop. I'm at the top. After AC Milan, there is only heaven...
When I arrived here, I acclimated right away. I've never been a great worker. Then I saw Ibrahimovic, Seedorf, Gattuso and Nesta who trained spitting out blood and I asked myself: Why not be like them? I'm working like a dog, but I'm happy...
If I mess up at Milan, I belong in an asylum."
Leonardo of Internazionale hailed the marathon man, Javier "Pupi" Zanetti, who tied the appearances record of Giuseppe Bergomi, in quotes made to La Gazzetta dello Sport:
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti (L) and captain Javier Zanetti show the Club World Cup winners' badge before the Italian Serie A soccer match against Napoli at the San Siro stadium in Milan, January 6, 2011. The badge will be worn on the club's jersey until this year's Club World Cup tournament.
"La costanza, il modo in cui gioca le partite Zanetti, è incredibile. È un caso da studiare... Anche nel recupero dopo le gare è sempre il primo. Domani raggiungerà il record di Bergomi: è un mito".
"His continuity, the way in which Zanetti plays games, is incredible. He is a case to study... Even in the recovery time after the games, he's always the first one. Tomorrow, he will equal the record of Giuseppe Bergomi. He is a myth."
Francesco Totti, "l'uomo simbolo" of AS Roma, was quoted in La Gazzetta dello Sport on his brief appearance against Sampdoria:

AS Roma forward Francesco Totti, right, is challenged by Catania defender Pablo Alvarez of Argentina during a Serie A soccer match between AS Roma and Catania, at Rome's Olympic stadium, Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011.
"I was a little unhappy to come on during the last four minutes of the match. As if we had lost time... I accept it all, anyway. I'm completely at the disposal of the team and the manager.... I spoke first with Bruno Conti, Montali, Prade' and then with Claudio Ranieri. We discussed what had happened and what will happen. Let's think about the present and then we shall see."
He was asked about being sad?
"I only said that I'm sad when I come inside Trigoria (their training center) and I reaffirm that."
Giuseppe Marotta, Director at Juventus discussed the situation between Gigi Buffon and Marco Storari in comments made to Tutto Sport:
TURIN, ITALY - JANUARY 13: Gianluigi Buffon of Juventus FC issues instructions during the Tim Cup match between Juventus FC and Catania Calcio at Olimpico Stadium on January 13, 2011 in Turin, Italy.
«Il rapporto tra lui e Gigi è ottimo. Siamo soddisfattissimi di avere due professionisti di questo spessore. C'è l'amarezza di Storari che sta per abbandonare la titolarità, ma abbiamo parlato con lui ed è un ragazzo serio. Vuole continuare a stare nella Juve».
"The rapport between Marco and Gigi is great. We are satisfied to have to two professionals of this caliber. There is some bitterness by Storari who is losing his starting role, but we have spoken with him and he's a serious guy. He wants to remain at Juventus."
**** Picture of the Week in World Football: ****
Real Madrid's coach Jose Mourinho from Portugal gives instructions to the players during their Copa del Rey quarterfinal first leg match against Atletico de Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011.
Here is mine: "Throw another water bottle at me, and I'll ask Zidane to headbutt you."
My quote was motivated by Giuseppe Rossi's teammate at Villarreal, Cani, who took exception to Mourinho's antics last week and threw a water bottle from the bench at him.
Villarreal's 'Cani' Ruben Gracia scores his goal facing Real Madrid's goalkeeper Iker Casillas during their Spanish La Liga soccer match at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid, Spain, Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011.
