Italian Soccer Serie A supports 100% INTER in the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2010

We are set to  root for our Italian Serie A team "INTER"  in the FIFA Club World Cup Semifinal.  Here are some of the comments made by Inter coach Rafael Benitez in the press conference on Tuesday December 14 on the eve of the Semifinal match Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma vs Inter  to be payed on Wednesday December 15,2 010.

I can't wait for the match to start.  Inter are not living their best moment with so many key injured players.  Yet,  believe they can gather the "drive  to pull a victory."   I want to see the comeback from forward Diego Milito with  great goals. oh come on!!!

At the  press conference representing F.C. Internazionale were the vice-managing director Stefano Filucchi, Rafael Benitez and Diego Milito.  Stefano Filucchi referred to the many present journalists the regards from president Massimo Moratti and from the entire club.  Here are the declarations courtesy of Inter official website.

Mr Benitez, tomorrow will you field the best possible team or, with the final being on Saturday, will you make some tactical choices?

"The first game is the most important. Therefore the team that will start tomorrow will be the best team for that game."

Is it a calculated risk to play those who have recently recovered from injury without them having much match practice?

"Clearly we are here to win and we must win the first game, it is the most important. If we win this one, then we will think about the final. Therefore choices will be made based on our priority: winning the first game."

In the past few days there has been evidence of a happy and united Inter group: what is it like to rediscover this Inter after so long?

"I am very happy, because I have options. All the players are working at one hundred per cent. It is true, the group is happy, the environment is very positive ahead of this game. And for this reason I am confident."

Can you give us any clue about the line-up?

"Well there will definitely be eleven players on the pitch. We still don't know, and if we did, we wouldn't tell. Today everyone carried out an excellent session. Everyone is ready to play, but we will decide tomorrow."

Is Italy's previous World Cup record against South Korean sides worrying? The referee is once again called Moreno...

"We don't talk about what happened to the Italian national team in the past. We talk about Inter: we are here to win and we have no negative thoughts before the game."

How do you feel and how do you feel this game will go?

"I'm relaxed, happy and am confident. I watched Milito score in training and I thought to myself: we are strong."

How do you judge tomorrow's opponent?

"They are a side that has had to do a lot to get here; it is not easy to win the Asian Champions League. Tactically they are well organised, they have quality and intensity, and they are both good on the ball and off it. They are a tough opponent, but we are Inter and we are here with a desire to win. We have studied them as a side, not just some individuals, even though they can rely on the quality and experience of some foreigners."

Word from England is that you are interested in Tevez? Would you like to bring him to Inter?

"Before such an important game it is not correct to talk about players that aren't here. I am happy with the players I have and have faith in them."

Compared to the last few games what kind of Inter will we see? Will it be a side that will return to being 'Inter'?

"It will be a different game, because it qualifies the winner for the World Cup final. It is an important game, one which we really want to win."

Has the team been thinking about this World Cup for too long? Eto'o told FIFA.com that Inter has been thinking about this since May 22...

"I think that in these months the team has been working thinking about each game as it comes. We won the Supercoppa Italiana in August, then we focused on the European Super-Cup, then we reached the knock-out stages of the Champions League and played in the domestic league. I think what Eto'o meant with that statement, was how important this event is, and therefore, as a target it has always been in the plans of the team."
